Real question is, how do we prevent the 15thYR from choking yet another competition?

Rumours mention that removing GI from any position of power might help the regiment greatly.

The main issue with the EIC rule is that it prevents camping to a certain extent but eventually, it is up to the leader(s) of the regiment not camping to make the best of the given opportunity while both regiments are forced to engage the fight at close range.

Quote from: EIC Camping Timer Rule
We have decided that the camp timer will be at 5 minutes for Season 3. We feel as though this is the best for both sides of the argument. After 5 minutes both regiments are forced to close the distance and engage in short-mid range shooting/melee. If a leader allows the opposite regiment to run away and re camp a hill afterwards, then that's his own mistake.

I understand the idea behind the rule as it clearly goes along the line of 'The rule gives you a chance to catch your opponent, if you let him run away, that's too bad for you'. Theoretically, it may seem like a good middle ground to avoid camping but allow for strategical positioning and manoeuvering, however, depending on the map and/or referee, it is just way too simple to abuse and experienced leaders will know how to play around it, therefore abusing camping as a whole.

In the NWGL (Morraine's NA 1v1 tournament), there was a rule which I believe can be summed up as 'After the camp timer has been exceeded, you have to close the engagement / re position yourself and may not camp a hill you have previously been occupying in that round'. While the rule itself still allows for many loopholes, it could be an addition to that specific ruleset, in order to make sure you avoid as many abuse as possible.

Though at the end of the day, the regiments willing to play in a cancerous way in order to win will always find a way to be frustrating to play against. You may limit their course of actions though I find it really hard to completely prevent them from playing that way.

Yeah okay, that's actually another quote from someone totally unrelated to the rest of the conversation. I'm gonna refer myself to my earlier comment and go to bed.  :'(

Yeah I missread it though your initial comment still doesn't make the slightest sense. Indeed, NA and EU both have a similar geographical size and therefore people face each other with different pings so unlike what you stated, not all EUs have 20 ping, far from it.

Where on earth do I state that Europeans have only 20 ping? However, I also misread it since I thought Ryan was insinuating NAs had only 20 ping.

'Most EUs suck. At gfing they legit die so fast on medium speed with 20 ping.' When you open your sentence mentioning that most EU suck and support your claim in the follow-up sentence by saying that at gfing, they die fast on medium speed with 20 ping, one can assume you believe that most EUs have 20 ping. It also looks like that it is how Ryan understood it.

You must be truly delusional if you think NA and EU are similar in size. EU always had a larger player base throughout the years and while both communities are definitely way past their prime in term of the overall activity, EU is still ahead from a fair margin, number wises. They have more events, both casually and competitively speaking, and more players on public servers. That has always been the case and will likely always stay the case so long as both communities are alive.

On the other hand, the 'skill gap' between NA and EU is an endless question which serves nothing but filling forum dramas for the usual cretins who know no better way on how to spend their time. Some intelligent people (though not many) have made some valid points however the years but realistically speaking, there is no way to demonstrate anything, therefore, no real interest in arguing about it.

As for the rest, if you don't know what you are talking about, keep it quiet.

Yeah, it's a common mistake and not a big one anyway, though I assumed you might want to have the ranks displayed correctly hence my comment. I am glad if I was able to be somewhat useful and if you happen to have a hesitation about a certain rank or how it is supposed to be written in future, feel free to reach me out. I will be happy to help.

Once more, good luck with your regiment.

I know every non-french person actually wants the rank written that way but its 'Adjudant' and not 'Adjutant'. And Captaine takes an extra 'i'; making it 'Capitaine'.

Good luck though!

Alright true melee is important in single player but the multiplayer is Native was never fun or exciting just a tack on from the single player game which warband was originally...

It's most likely because you didn't play the fun part of the multiplayer in Native.

I get the idea though, benching Kore every matches up to the grand final, unleashing him once you reach it so he carries everyone once more, ez gold medal
