Tardet and Erik are the same person

Change my mind

let me write 5 paragraphs to explain why im not Tardet, making me look like Tardet typing his daily 5 paragraphs in the process

I was about to delete this post, then realized this would make me look Erik using of his admin power to impose his unfair cenzorship over the cavalry community.

Okay, we gonna stop it here. What was meant to be a joke clearly hasn't been well received. From now on, keep the discussion on-topic, thanks.

Smaller format doesn't necessarily always mean more competitiveness. However, its worth mentioning 10vs10 format (edit: for groupfighting) favors lines-up functioning on a small core and not necessarily capable to rely on many sub players and give them more chance to upset the top regiments.

The larger the format, the better regiments like 15thYR, K-KA, 91st will be because they have a larger competitive player base and therefore are arguably capable to field more skilled players if the numbers increase.

Nothing really new under the sun.

Edit: Either way, when it comes down to 1vs1 LB, I would love to see another EIC/NWL format once the Napoleons Cup is other. I've missed casting/watching this and it goes without saying Syrcrim and I would be thrilled to cover such a competition on a regular basis.

Max rostersize is 6 while first rounds are 8v8. How does that work?

To me it looks like the introduction text is the wrong one, it doesn't look like a Decremental Tournament format but rather a regular 4v4. Just a mistake probably.

Thanks! We'll be likely covering France vs Balkans on Thursday, will re-announce it later on when we are 100% sure.

Are Obelix and MATT the same person?

Yeah, the video should be available in replay really soon on the IVe Corps youtube channel.

Cavalry Champions League / Re: [CCL] Betting Corner
« on: February 12, 2019, 07:38:59 pm »
For this week, every participant which have already been partaking into previous betting weeks (doesn't matter which one) will be refilled with 20 Napoléons.

This means that every new participant in the betting corner still has a starting sum of 40 Napoléons (and not 60).

I have added a poll to get some opinions about how we should deal with the betting corner moving forward. I don't want to be too excessive with the way we deal with the virtual money because the main objective of this is to have fun but if the currency system doesn't really matter in the eyes of most, might as well start the second part of the CCL season with a simpler system where you only have to guess the results of the four matches and you earn points for each correct results (Win, Lose, Draw) + extra bonus points if you predict the correct score (9-1, 4-6, 5-5).

The currency system rewards money management whereas the point system is more rewarding when it comes to showing pure community knowledge and doesn't punish failure as you can still partake every weeks regardless of your bets outcome. Your choice, you decide!

Not sure what other people think about but I feel Michnicki deserves way more than 82 considering the hours he has put into the game recently and the logical performances coming with it.

He has been ever so consistent since the start of the CCL, especially when matches tend to get tough. (He was one of the very best players in Nr4's opening match against 5e).

Thread looks pretty dope, best of luck with the regiment MarxeiL. Earning a second place at your first tournament is not the worst of the omen for the regiment ;)

Rankings have been updated for Week 4. Week 5 bets are now opened, and odds for current matches can be found on the first page. If you see a mistake, as per usual, lemme know.

Here you can find all information about your placing, results and current balance: Link. (Make sure you are checking the Week 4 page).

Swissy still keeps the first place with a significant advantage, closely followed by Rybon who jumped from the third to second place. This week's MVG definitely goes to Treiz who guessed all correct four matches, granting himself a well-deserved 3rd place. Unfortunately, Squall joins the chocoholic squad due to this week's unfortunate bet. Well-played to Felix, Lighting and Treiz for being the only ones capable to guess the draw between 1erRC and Nr6.

Ps: @Felix @OuRaNos: You looked at the wrong week while betting so in OuRaNos' case, I just changed the single bet amount and for Felix, I kept the bets which were the most rewarding for you. Please for next week, make sure to bet with the current amount of money, thanks!
