Hello, I am Spork, and I am bringing back the 9th. However it's going to be less of the historical accuracy and traditional regiment stuff, and more of the good times stuff, depending on how big we get and what the desires of the men are.
For now, here are the principles.
PTS will be enforced. If you like saying whatever you want whenever you want during line battles, this isn't the place for you. Line battles will be relatively quiet except for the commissioned and non-commissioned officers. There will also be no typing in chat, no contributing to the landfill that is chat during events, with the exception of occasional simple greetings to a friend you see from another regiment.
There will be no racial slurs or overt hate speech in our TS channels at any time, unless it's a only a very small joke and you announce beforehand that it's going to be bad, so that hopefully nobody will be offended. When people get offended, people leave, and that's not what we want. The same goes for being incredibly annoying with soundboards and music, unless done within reason and in appropriate places and times.
There will be no headbanging, no dancing, no teabagging, no teamkilling when events are not live, unless ordered to do so.
Everybody will get a chance to lead in this regiment. This does not mean that everybody will become an officer, but at each event I will give someone who is not an officer, preferably someone who has never led before, the chance to lead at least one round. If we expand to multiple companies, that means multiple new guys will get to lead for a round.
Why? I feel that anyone who creates a regiment, gets a bunch of guys to join him and then always personally leads everything, well, I don't believe he thinks too highly of his men, perhaps even thinks of himself of being better than them, when the reality is that we're all just a bunch of nerds sitting at our computers playing video games. Who cares if you're the greatest leader of all time, it's a video game, you're not making any money from this, you're not going to be famous beyond this online community, this game isn't even slightly relevant to modern military practices. We are here to have a fun time.
At the moment the rank structure will be simplified as such:
QM - Quartermaster - Me
Sjt - Serjeants - Line leaders
Cpl - Corporals - Next in charge after the serjeants
Pte - Privates - Those dangly bits that require a balance between keeping them safe and putting them into dangerous places where they can be of use
Rct - Recruits - New guys who might get kicked out if they don't behave
To join, add me on Steam, 9th_QM_Spork, or if I have changed my username,

For anything not mentioned here, like our event schedule, TS, server info, or roster, ask me.
Going to be using just 9th_ for the tags, if that bothers anyone please contact me and we can find a solution.
