I have an idea for a mod,  can there be a mod that has instant/faster reload, no smoke from firearms {muskets, rifles and cannons} and have bullet "trails" last for a little while. I believe this would be a valuable resource for firearm training.

I like the precedent, set by NW, that a single stab from infantry can dehorse a rider at speed. It levels the playing field though I could see some changes to cav overall.  There are three things I would like to see, a mounted thrust would do more damage  the slash do less and you can couch your sword forward vs. enemy cav.
