Imo the idea of the autoupdater is great and it´s really easy to use it. But it´s very complicated to tell everybody of my regiment how to update their North and South. I also support the idea of having two ways of installing: 1. The updater and 2. a manual install (also with a .rar data due to the fact, that at some people the installer simply not work).

Imo 3 pm is a good time. Of course the earlier the better, but it would be a bigger problem if they would release it 1-2 hours before the actual linebattle starts. In this case I´d agree to you to move it to the next day, but afternoon is quite okay.

Btw: Where did you get the fancy picture? Do you know what that is? It´s a group photo of the 15th Alabama, taken a loooong time ago (I guess in march 2012) in Secession Mod. You can see me on that aswell. I´m one of the soldiers in the rear rank
