Since the poorer side of the army had no definitive fashions they typically had mixed hard and light shakos. This applies with Shutzen as well with hat variations. In particular because skirmishers did not favor giant shakos while hiding in brush. The Perry Miniature picture, so what's with his hat, I have never seen a shutzens hat like that. So, for the silesian picture, who was that jaeger, was that a volunteer eager, or some landwehr regiment?Which one, a few of the photos have silesians in them. The Musketeer one has a shutzen in the front.

Some of these were used in MM Russia for the main menu. By Alexander Yuryevich Averyanov:
The Defense of SmolenskSpoiler[close]
Battle of Preußische-Eilau, 1807, attack of the Moscow Regiment (the mitres are probably erroneous for 1807, and I don't know if it's meant to be the Moscow Grenadier Regiment or just the grenadier battalion of the Moscow Infantry Regiment - the banners suggest the former)Spoiler[close]
Bagration at BorodinoSpoiler[close]
Fight for the "Bagration Flèches"Spoiler[close]
Friend (wounded cossack rider and his horse)Spoiler[close]
Veteran (note the bullet hole on the front-plate, left unmended as a badge of honour)Spoiler[close]
Dose that mean were not going to play the Civil War mod anymore? We will play it until the release of the new FSE game.
