We want to wage fight with quite a few enemies together. We are here to have fun and work hard at the same time. Welcome to our ranks, and we will together, arm to arm, show what polish soldiers never lacked. Will to fight.History 8 Pułk Piechoty is branch of infantry formed in the Duchy of Warsaw as 4 pułk piechoty Legii Kaliskiej in 1807 in Kalisz ... Regiment in January 1807 moved to Konin to defend the town. Because of money problems during the Polish-Austrian War in 1809 the regiment was in several garrisons, including the Czestochowa and Modlin. During clashes with the Austrians, regiment distinguished himself under Falenty by great defense. At the end of the year the regiment registered 2,302 soldiers. In that same year, during the battle with Austria under the Raszyn Colonel Cyprian Godebski died - an outstanding strategist and commander of 8 Pułk Piechoty - leading the 1st Battalion of this regiment. His place was taken by Cajetan Stuart - a soldier of the Polish Legions, adiutant of Joseph Wielhorski's Artillery Battalion , Colonel of 8. pułk piechoty during the "Polish War II". He leaded 8. to fight against Russia during the "Invasion of Russia" in 1812 organized by Napoleon. The regiment was defeated in 1812 during the battles - as most of the Grand Army.
