The Mess Hall / personal top 10 list pre update BCOF

decided to follow along with what babyj did and create my own top 10 list based off what ive seen from everyone before the update ( i will give short descriptions on rankings)

what i considered: pit events, GF's, tournaments, ability to beat me

what i did not consider: dueling (because it is pointless right now and certain game features can make or break a duel)

another note to keep in mind: everyone in this list are pretty close in terms of overall skill right now, it was very very hard to determine who was at each specific spot. some people should definitely be 1 spot higher or 1 spot lower, but for the most part i feel this is the list thats mostly accurate for me right now.


1. Killershark (best overall from my view, consistently top frags in pit events and does very well in tournaments. has a mostly default playstyle, but backs it up with stellar blocking and feints/chambering mixed in)


2. Vertildr (underrated for how well he performs in GF's and tournaments, great target switching and unpredictable + chambers anything i throw at the fucker)


3. Stryker (consistently does well in all events, IMO has the best mechanics and can adapt quick + can chamber most stabs, is just as good at defense as he is at offense)


4. Hofnaar (sneaky good with setting up kills and ranging, great mechanics with good defense allowing little openings, always helps his team to a top 3 finish in tourneys)


5. WiFiBills (great at holding the line and getting fast stabs, also has amazing defense and is good at chambering, does great in smaller scale GF's and tourneys)


6. BabyJesus (overall knowledge from NW combined with good mechanics, good at working with team and makes good picks + great defense, war of attrition when fighting him)


7. marS (idk what to say about me, bragging not fun)


8. Wall (also extremely underrated in GF and tournament settings, good target switching and solid playstyle + can chamber most holds, can adjust to any situation)


9. Wolfe (has been performing very well and improving in events over the past month, great at setting up kills and has exceptional teamwork with anyone he's paired with)


10. iodine (solid player with not very many lacking areas, solid at holding the walls during GF's + good up downs and a moveset similiar to pedro in NW)


*KEEP IN MIND THESE ARE MY OPINIONS AND THOUGHTS THAT GO THROUGH MY HEAD WHEN FIGHTING THESE PEOPLE AND WHAT I SEE THE MOST FROM THEIR PLAYSTYLE*

Essentially, I got with over 15 respected members of the community, and asked each one to give me a list on who they thought were the top 10 groupfighters and duelists, respectively. The results of this survey are below. I will have another section to explain the simple math for it. If you would like to know who gave me lists, all contributors are credited at the bottom of the thread as well. And if you'd like to know what their lists were specifically, you can personally ask them, or you can ask me and I will show you.

1st on a list = 10 points
2nd on a list = 9 points
3rd on a list = 8 points
4th on a list = 7 points
5th on a list = 6 points
6th on a list = 5 points

Heavens Arena 4v4 Tournament

Rules
1. Forced Springfield 1855

2. All matches will be done on the GL Official Server

3. Single elimination bracket the entire way. If you have a bad game, tuff luck

4. First to 10 until the final, then First to 15

5. No slurs, but BM all you want

6. In game names must be the same (or similar, just no retarded smurf name) as sign up names

7. Seeding will be randomized 5 times

8. Tournament will be held on May 29th, 9:10 PM EST

If you say a slur or use a fake name at any point, your team will be immediately disqualified, keep it casual gentlemen

Sign ups will be done through the discord server I have created to regulate these tournaments. There is a team application on the discord server with a format to make a team

HEAVENS ARENA TOURNAMENTS


I'm making a discord for melee tourneys im gonna host. It'll have live brackets, player stats for each individual tournament, and a chance to get some more POG nelk bcof clout

I noticed there has never been a 4v4 tourney, so im gonna kick it off with one of those by the end of this month, or a couple weeks after the new animations come out (IF they do).

I'll post the tournaments in this thread too, but 90% of the communication will be done on the discord server, so make sure when you make teams for respectable tourneys, that ALL players on ur team are in the discord!

Rules and the date of the first tourney will be announced either tomorrow or in a couple of days. Like I said, I will post the tournament on this thread, but sign ups and referee apps will be done through the discord!

|Information| The 4th Alabama is a new Battle Cry of Freedom regiment looking to grow within the community over the years. We will be going to 3-5 events per week, plus training sessions (when needed), while focusing on a more casual environment that still knows when to not screw around.
