The 47th Lancashire is an active, disciplined and skilled Napoleonic Wars regiment in the European Region. We are a friendly community with many members.
We play tons of games together whilst having fun. Everyone is welcome in here. Even new players not familiar with the game. Join us and we will help you to improve your skills. Discipline is very
important in our regiment. You must behave as a real soldier in the field in order to keep your place in the regiment. Show that you are loyal, active and disciplined and you will get promoted fast.
Show us that you are a good leader and you might be able to join the NCO's.

The Napoleonic Wars In 1807 the 1st/47th joined an expedition against the Spanish Colonies in South America, taking part in the storming of Monte Video and the subsequent unsuccessful attempt to capture Buenos Aires. Shortly afterwards the  1st/ 47th sailed, via the Cape of Good Hope, to start a 20 year – long  tour of duty in the East Indies. Next to take the field were the 2nd/47th, who from 1809 were based in Andalusia providing garrisons at Gibraltar, Tarifa and Cadiz. On 5 March 1811 the two flank companies of the 47th played a prominent role in the short but hard-fought victory of Barrosa, losing almost one third of their strength. In December 1811 the entire Battalion was with the British garrison of Tarifa when that fortified town at the extreme southernmost tip of Europe was besieged by the French. By the end of the month a breach had been opened in the walls and on 31 December this was assaulted by some 2,000 French grenadiers and voltigeurs. The 47th, together with the 87th, manned the walls and beat back the attackers with a terrific fusillade, thereby ending the siege. The Regiment was awarded the Battle Honour ‘Tarifa’ and for many years celebrated the victory with a Sergeants’ Mess ball on Tarifa Day, New Year’s Eve. After Tarifa, the 2nd/47th formed part of the garrison of Cadiz until the French siege of that place was lifted. In 1812 they marched north from Cadiz to join The Duke of Wellington’s army which was at that time retiring on its Portuguese bases under pressure from the united French armies. On 30 October they fought a heavy rearguard action at Puente Largo, south of Madrid, where ‘the enemy made a vigorous attempt to get possession of the bridge but were repulsed in a very handsome manner by the 47th Regiment’. Introduction

The 47th Lancashire is a very old regiment, after being around practically since Napoleonic Wars began. We have experienced a lot, and been together for a long time, playing games in various communities, but all with 47th at heart. We are a casual regiment, but formed of critical and valued members, mostly veterans of this game. We still value discipline, and wish to maintain our good name. If you are interested in joining us, you must both behave and act positively, and benifit the community. We respect loyalty, and if you stick by us, you'll have a lot of fun.

We play one event a month however, so we are not massively active, aiming to maintain friendship through this game, and other games to come.

So if you are looking for something to hold onto, while still being part of a disciplined and skilled regiment, enlist for service in the 47th Lancashire Regiment

The 47th Regiment of Foot is an EU Regiment, aspiring to enjoy the time we have left with this game. We decided that it was about time we created an event where the regiments had a say about what happens.

General Rules

General Rules

-You may not talk in all chat unless you are an officer, you may of course if all officers are dead and your in command
-Don't Troll other regiments
-Don't Team kill (TK)
-Don't Rambo
-Keep the chat clean and friendly, no abuse or offensive comments.
-Regiments must only play as the class they signed up for.
-The entire unit must stay together as you move in formation.
-Only one Officer per regiment
-The event will last until 8pm GMT, you are expected to attend till the end unless circumstances arise to affect this.
-Anyone showing any modifications which affect their game will be temp banned, this includes the sapper mod, and the zoom mod.
-Glitching is not allowed and anyone seen performing anything considered glitching will either be issued with a warning or temp banned.
-No insulting any other player for any reason, in any way.
-The admin's word is final- do not disagree with the admins.
-When Rifles or Lights are with a Line and are 3 or less they must act as a line rather than Rifles or Lights

The 47th Lancashire Regiment of Foot is Proud to present its new Tuesday Line only Event! The event will be hosted by ourselves with Etherton as the main contact for event information etc.  If you have any questions or wish to signup all the information needed is provided below!

General Information The 47th is proud to present our new Tuesday Line only Event! It will take place every week. The event will be hosted every Tuesday at 7:00pm GMT / 2pm EST! The server name will be 47th_Tuesday_Event and the password will work 10 minutes before the event is due to start! Sign ups are made through this forum and can also me made on steam via messaging one of the officers named below. The password will be handed out via Steam so please make sure one of your members is available to recieve details! The 47th Lancashire Regiment of Foot is Proud to present its new Saturday Siege Event! The event will be hosted by ourselves with Etherton as the main contact for event information etc. The maximum players will be 160 (Server is set to 200 but only 160 slots are available to be taken) as to not have lag on any of the default and custom maps we will use. If you have any questions or wish to signup all the information needed is provided below!

Everyone is welcome in here. Are you not a good player or are you new to the game? Join us and we will help you to improve your skills. Discipline is very important in our regiment.
