Official Servers Bans & Unbans / How to Locate Your Player ID

Good day everyone.
If you got banned on any Server of Napoleonic Wars and your looking for your ID to get unbanned, then join this Server:

"ID_Finder"

The Server will show your Name and ID until you left the server.

If you can't find ID_Finder:



What you need:

Napoleonic Wars Dedicated Server or a friend who can help you with his server.  If you have a friend or regiment with a server, then ask them if they can look into the logs (should be faster than the steps below)

No need to fear if you don't have any friends with access to a server.  Simply Join a server that shows a text showing your user ID.  If it goes off the screen before you see it, then hit L for the in game logs.

If neither of these options are available, follow the steps below.

This will take a few minutes.


Step one:
Download the official serverfiles www.flyingsquirrelent.eu/mb_warband_napoleonic_wars_dedicated_1158_nw_1104.zip

Step two:
If you downloaded the serverfiles, copy the folder "Mount&Blade Warband Napoleonic Wars Dedicated" and paste it where you can find it.

Step three:
You don't need to open your ports.
You will see this

Run one of the batch-file (like "NW_Sample_Battle_start")

Step four:
Following will open

Wait until everything got loaded (can take few seconds).

Step five:
Keep this two windows open
Now run Napoleonic Wars and go to Multiplayer.
Open the serverlist and change the source from "Internet" to "Local Area Network"
Join and then leave the Server.

Step six:
Now you can close the two weird windows.
Open your serverfiles and open the folder "Logs".
Open the file from the day you did this tutorial (at first time running the server, there should be one file)
Now you can see everything what happened on your server.
Look for following message: "YOUR_NAME has joined the game with ID: YOUR ID"

NOTICE: Native and NW ID's are different! The ID is not the CD-Key and not your IP! Don't post them.
Save your ID anywhere you can find it again or don't get banned again  :P

It has come to the FSE Administration attention that there are too many users posting comments on several requests that have nothing to do with the request itself. We would like to tell you that unless you have something relevant to add to the respective request, do not post in order to avoid unnecessary discussions.

Post only if:

- You are a witness and want to support the other user's request;
- You are the player who got banned/want to be unbanned;

Please do note that NW Administrators are always allowed to post regardless of their involvement.

Napoleonic Wars: Official Server Rules

- Do not make derogatory remarks to other players or regiments on the server, or about players who may not be on the server. This includes, but is not limited to, racist, sexist, homophobic and bigoted insults, as well as personal attacks and harassment. There is a no tolerance policy for derogatory remarks like slurs on the server.  Using them in general will make you liable to be removed from the server.

- Do not intentionally wound or kill members of your own team (this includes their horses also).

- Do not harass or argue with admins. In the event that you are unhappy with an admins behaviour or ruling on a matter, please take a record and appeal to Deofuta, Thunderstormer, or Littleguy for NA, and MrTiki or Cenzii for EU.

- Do not impersonate any other individual or group. Doing so will be treated harshly, regardless of intention or excuse.  This includes impersonating in the chat.

- A regiment may advertise once per map, regardless of how many rounds are played on it. This applies to advertisements, both general and individual. This also includes messages for an entire group like an Army etc,.  Regular advertisement like your youtube, twitch, facebook, etc,. are included in this rule.

- Do not delay.

- Do not build Earthworks in doorways.  This includes artillery and plank spam as well.            You can cover the stairs with a set of planks but do not spam them.   

- Preset artillery pieces operate on the principle of ‘first come, first serve’. The player that reaches a piece first then ‘owns’ that piece for the round, but must yield to another cannoneer, if any, in the next round. If someone spawns their own artillery piece, it is theirs to control.(this may include their group)  Do not steal it.

- Any sort of behaviour that results in unwelcome responses will be dealt with i.e. trolling/annoyance.

- Any action that warrants unfair game-play is not permitted such as glitching, hacking or cheating.

- Any European language is permitted, spam on the other hand is not.

- Use the build points to help your team.  They are meant to assist your team in the killing of the enemy or protecting your team from the enemy.  This does not mean you are allowed to make private forts/defenses/sky towers for yourself. They are also not meant to be used get to places that players were never meant to be.  If you have to build/destroy something to get there, do not do it. 

- Admins have the final decision in any case.

These set of rules can be amended without prior notice, rules must be followed on all official servers and may be used for private servers.

NW Community Representative Applications

Hey Everyone,

So as our post mentions, we are now creating a new position in order to give a voice to the community. We will be finding 10 members of the community to serve as NW Community Representatives, intermediaries between the Community Managers, and the Community itself. They will have access to a private section of the forums, where any decisions that may affect the community by the Community Managers will be discussed before said decisions are made. This will allow the Community Managers to make an informed decision, with help from the Community itself. The Community Representatives will also be expected to bring grievances against the management team in order for critical discussion to occur, and for us to right those wrongs. Anyone can apply for this position, it does not matter if you are in a regiment or not and if you have a leadership position or not. We will be collect the applications and forming a poll which the community can freely vote on, later this week.

This is a bit different from what I've posted before, but it is so worth it.

Kingdom's CCG is an online collectible card game in the same vein as magic the gathering. It features a wide variety of cards  and strategies, and is growing daily. You can play without putting in a cent, but it can be slow for those just starting out. But hey, its free right? Take a look, its rather new and is being updated consistently:

Napoleonic Wars: Administration Applications



Applications are open!


The Napoleonic Wars Admin team have their roots in the old MM Mod. A team of Professional and mature Players, that strive to make sure that the official servers are well looked after.
We are looking for Mature and respected community members to help run the Official servers (US/EU).
Admins are required to be active and have a neutral standing in all situations and look for the best outcome for the community.
A successful Applicant must follow the server rules at all times, while also adhering to the admin rules.
Once accepted a 2 week trial period will commence where your performance will be evaluated.
Only successful applicants will be responded to by pm or steam by Cenzii, Hancock (for EU) or Deofuta (for US). This can take 1-4 weeks (or longer) to process.
Applications will be accepted on the fly and there is no set closing date for applications.
Applications are open to anyone.

Now that I am on a semi-vacation I tend to be able to play more console games. This vacation's game is Halo 4!

Currently enjoying the latest iteration, the re-imagined team slayer is enjoyable, and the gun play feels great.
