Other Games / War Thunder - Rank 5 Anyone?
« on: February 17, 2014, 12:22:04 am »
If this is supposed to be in the War Thunder thread, I'm sorry.

Does anyone else have a rank 5 that I can team with?

Iron Europe / Crosshair Mod [Cross, dot, circle + white, red, green]
« on: February 16, 2014, 09:07:54 pm »
To install, just place the texture ui_gadgets.dds inside of your Iron Europe textures folder. It will copy and replace it. DO NOT PUT THIS ON NW

Multiple crosshairs come in the pack including the original if you like it better. I will be making more of these, and in different colors. Have fun!

Servers / BBG_Public_NA1 & BBG_Public_NA2
« on: February 15, 2014, 10:52:42 pm »
Hi fellas. Simple rules...some classes are limited, do not tk, or recruit. This is not the official NA server.

We are using two 100 slot servers instead of one 200 slot server to help reduce ping and delay lag.

Regiments / Wiltshire Regiment (Duke of Edinburgh's Own)
« on: February 15, 2014, 06:32:35 pm »

Regimental History  & Contact Information

At the start of World War I, the Wiltshire Regiment, like most of the rest of the British Army, consisted of two regular battalions (1st and 2nd), a reserve battalion (3rd), and a Territorial Force battalion. Eventually, the Wiltshire Regiment expanded to ten battalions, seven of which served overseas. These included three additional Territorial Force battalions (1/4th, 2/4th, and 3/4th Battalions) as well as four service battalions (5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th battalions) formed for the Kitchener Army formations. Pictured right is the Wiltshire Regiment during the Battle of the Somme.

Are you interested in joining the regiment? There are a few things you need to do. You must download Teamspeak and add any of the officers on Steam. Then, you have to join our Teamspeak at atl01.mainvoice.net:7007. Everything else will be discussed via Teamspeak.

Hi there. I'm James, and I'm new to the world of modding. I hope that you will enjoy my skins just as much as I have enjoyed making them. Remember that I don't have all the time in the world to do these, but I try to complete skins in around 2 weeks. Also, I am absolutely terrible at being creative, so don't give me anything without a picture; I don't want to guess what a skin should look like and then end up ruining it.

Other Games / Should I sell my TF2 backpack for Steam funds?
« on: October 06, 2013, 07:20:56 pm »
Just a little info for all of you TF2 junkies out there.

1.) I don't play TF2 anymore, and probably never will.

2.) I am afraid that the vintages will appreciate value in the next years after I sell them.

3.) I am also afraid that the vintages will depreciate in value if I don't sell them.

4.) Here is my backpack: Click me

Community / What is the regiment you most enjoyed being in?
« on: September 24, 2013, 10:15:14 pm »
Since I am not going to be as persnickety as to say it is the regiment I created, I would say the 1stMEF due to the facts that it was extremely strict since we had ex-mil/current-mil.

« on: August 15, 2013, 05:30:35 am »
Well, here's mine. I thought I did a nice job killing during the battle, but I was so into the fact that I was killing them that I thought the LB was over...there was still one more round left. TL;DR go to 0:52 for the moment of derp.  :-[

Servers / Bloody Bayonet Gaming Teamspeak + Server Host ***Since 2013***
« on: August 10, 2013, 06:39:28 am »

(By the way, I am not making this thread fancy like my others  ;D)

Hi! I've been in the M&B community for over a year now, and I'd like to give new regiments a place to stay with a 200 slot sponsored server that they can recruit on and train on. If you want your own server, I can get you an economically friendly 100 slot server for $20 a month or $40 for every 3 months! <--- Huge discount! One of the biggest problems I faced when I was first running my regiment was having a Teamspeak and a server. The Teamspeak I could handle, but the server, no way. If you want to apply, please post this information in the chat and read our rules!

Community Rules

Spoiler
User Rules

1. Do not troll anyone on the Teamspeak or anyone in general.

2. Tell me if you want a regiment invited to the Teamspeak.

3. No racial slurs, pornographic images, offensive descriptions, or offensive channels.

4. Administrators will be picked. Just because you own a regiment in the community doesn't mean you will get admin rights.

Server Administrator Rules

1. Do not abuse your power (i.e moving people who don't want to be moved, kicking/banning people who aren't breaking rules).

2. Do not create offensive server groups or unnecessary server groups.

3. Offensive channels will be taken off of the Teamspeak.

Server Usage Rules

1. You can reserve a date and time to train on our official Napoleonic Wars server. However, you must not conflict with other regiments and their training times.

2. Do not invite any clans to the Teamspeak without my permission.

3. You must have 5 people on for your regiment to be accepted into the Teamspeak.

Community / Thoughts on a naval event
« on: August 02, 2013, 06:43:44 am »
Hello gents. I've hosted the FFL B&I event (<--- biggest B&I event  :D) and numerous other events on other M&B modules. I have also had a successful time hosting NW events months ago. As I am back into the NW community, I am thinking of hosting a naval event. I make custom maps and assure a quality experience without just using the stock naval map. Also, I am sponsored with a free 200 slot server from my host which is amazing quality. Please vote! Thanks!

Regimental History

Commissar Jdf, Maj. USMC

Concerning the regiment's history, I, alongside with two good friends, founded the 42nd North Carolina on a mod called North & South on November 29, 2012. Most of our core members have been together since then. We moved to Blood & Iron for a while when North & South lost its interest with the community. After we got ourselves together, we made the final transition to Napoleonic Wars. During our time here, we have had 35 people at our peak and have been through four NANWL seasons.

As for the real history, the Marines' most famous action of this period occurred during the First Barbary War (1801–1805) against the Barbary pirates, when William Eaton and First Lieutenant Presley O'Bannon led eight Marines and 500 mercenaries in an effort to capture Tripoli. Though they only reached Derna, the action at Tripoli has been immortalized in the Marines' hymn and the Mameluke Sword carried by Marine officers. During the War of 1812, Marine naval detachments took part in the great frigate duels that characterized the war, which were the first American victories in the conflict. Their most significant contributions were delaying the British march to Washington, D.C. at the Battle of Bladensburg and holding the center of Gen. Andrew Jackson's defensive line at the defense of New Orleans. By the end of the war, the Marines had acquired a well-deserved reputation as expert marksmen, especially in ship-to-ship actions.

Roster

COs
Within the regiment, officers are to be held at the highest standards because of their commitment, loyalty, skill, and activity. Officers are expected to help with decisions, lead detachments/lines, and order promotions.

NCOs & Enlisted
The enlisted man is the backbone of any army. He, alongside NCOs, are the ones that do the hard fighting. Without him, an army would not be able to fight, therefore enlisted men should be given just as much respect.
