Not the point. If I see that the insignia I've been using for months has something exactly the same in structure, size, and the only difference being a small change in color, I would hold the right to assume that the similar insignia was copied from my own. I've had mine for much longer than yours, what's the problem if I want you to change it? Wouldn't it be extremely easy to?
Saying "you need a patent" or "you need a trade mark" is just immature. Be a maturer person by accepting my very humble request.
EDIT: I shouldn't even have to say it, but I feel it is reasonable to. Telling me to change the insignia I have been using since mid-December is immature and unfair.
Not telling you to change anything. And the only reason i mentioned patent/copy right is because you said it's plagiarism, which it isn't since you do not own any rights. They may look similar but that doesn't give you the right to demand him to change his. Requesting him to do so is one thing, but it is up to him if he does so or not and that's final. As i said, it's just TS or forum insignias in the end so it's nothing major, they are just in that one thread.
Anyway, i'm bailing before i give in to this drama any further.
