Assuming Enemy at the Gates was a good and historically accurate movie.

So how about that mod eh? I have a question, how many shots can the Heavy MG fire before it has to be reloaded?

Historically the MG08 was able to shoot up to 450 rounds a minute and was supplied with 250 round belts.

The french machine gun could shoot up to 650 rounds a minute and was supplied by either 25 round strips, or 350(I think) round belts. In the game we have strips, but we still let them have 250 rounds for balance. Their speed is also locked at 400 rounds a minute, which is more than enough to kill a few players...

I told Dany to lock both machine guns at a fire rate of 400 rounds a minute and have 250 round belts/strips.

Are there any instances of faction weapons that are (historically) different from one another i.e. different stats, or has the playing field been more or less evenly balanced for gameplay purposes?

NB I am not implying I would prefer one over another.

Why?   :'(
Audiate hacked into the dropbox folder where the mod's files were being stored. Instead of copying and pasting the mod files so he could have early access, he accidentally cut and pasted the files. After realizing his error, he hastily deleted any evidence from his hard drive, also destroying the dev's working copy of the mod. Now it is up to Rigadoon and his crew to recreate the entire mod from scratch in the next week or they will miss their deadline. This could have all been avoided if we were only more patient...

 ;)

This sounds like something that would happen to the Full Invasion 2 "dev team"

2 weeks?

Devs said "January release" so, given that there's about 2-3 weeks left in January, people assume it'll be released by then.

I do not wish to ask about any timetables, which is rather unappreciative of the fact that all this nice content is provided free due to the good will and hard work from a good team of modders, but rather: is there some sort of "to do", "done" and "in progress" list of features for this mod? I think this would help bring some people's expectations about when the mod is going to be finished back to reasonable levels, or inform them of the mod's progress without having to ask how mod is going, which can irk some people.
