Title: Non-steam Warband and Steam Napoleonic Wars?

Hello, few of my friends has non-steam Warband. They bought Napoleonic Wars from steam, and they can't install it because Steam says that there is no Warband present. They tried to add Warband on steam, but the key format is different. Is there a way for them to make NW work without steam version of Warband?
