Hello I am japanese so please tell in the comment or vote the poll if you want a Japanese sub-forum.
It's a bit easier for me, but if its no i agree with you guys i will not be mad or anything ;D
Kind regards AeroNinja

Seeing how little the sub forums are used, no. Completely pointless.

Lol why? Mother Languages are very better than languages you cant understand or speak much. :/

You are most likely one of the only persons who speaks Japanese anyway, it will only be a waste of space on the forum.

In the "Yes" poll gets enough support, we'll consider adding a Japanese subforum. As it is though I don't believe the language forums are used particularly much, so it may not be worth it anyway.
Either way - if it gets the votes, we'll discuss it internally.

That is silly Blob. Only japanese speaking should be able to vote and judging from the other language boards one does not need many people to get a board like that.
-
That and you need moderators for the board.

Hm, indeed :/.

I was assuming that japanese people would mainly be the ones voting "Yes" - regardless, I didn't say we'd definitely be implementing it if there are a lot of "Yes" votes, simply that we'd consider it.

I don't think you quite understand, nor do I think it falls under your jurisdiction anyway.
-
Well I don't want to have this forum if its difficult to make. If it's no i won't be mad or anything its just easier for me and maybe other asians. (if there are any). :)

Then, maybe a south eastern Asian sub-forum? That way, you guys all have your own forum to discuss in your native languages, which may be easier for you.

That would be awesome too the region from japan china korea thailand and vietnam Nice thinking whoa :D that would be awesome yes :D

Can't say I've ever seen many people who's native languages are from Asia/Pacific, you're the first I've come across.
Even the larger communities like the Swedes barely use their own forum.

Because they know English so well. :P
The Chinese have all banded together on their own (rather large) forum, so that is why you don't see a language board for them for instance.

How dare you?!

All you Scandinavians are Swedes to me.

And thats USE4life on the list...

I'd be happier to be Swedish, they're one of the only countries Britain hasn't invaded.

I wish to correct the replies a lot of you guys made here:

Consider them Australian since Koreans and Chinese do not have shit internet
-
It doesn't really harm me, If it gets enough support, I don't see why not.
-
I would say no because the sub-forums in place are rarely used and what percentage of the Community speak Japanese?
-
... and what percentage of the Community speak Japanese?
Probably less than .5%... This community is the largest in Europe, probably well over half of the community is European. Then the North Americans, then Australia/Oceania... then Southeastern Asian/Pacific. Like I suggest earlier in this thread, a general Southeastern Asian board would be fine.

5%? What about 1% or less lol.

He said point 5 (.5) percent.
-
What is the problem in having it? Surely they won't lay waste to the other boards.
And what if it won't be used for shit? What's the problem?

He pretty much explained it, it will not affect the other people who are not Japanese and will benefit Japanese people would would like to be able to speak their language, even if it wont be used much, just look at the other language boards...

I don't mind, but I would be a bit confused if, new Asian writing appeared on my Unread Topics list, I notice the German ones every day. Not saying I mind, just saying some people wouldn't be too comfy, with a 'new type of writing' so to speak.
I was taught something today...

Connzcdf, you can ignore board you don't want updates from in your Profile settings. That way topics don't show up from forums you've no interest in.
