After much deliberation we're ready to announce the brackets. The two top teams will advance to the next stage, and to add more playability there will be secondary brackets for the remaining teams who didn't make it. Note teams Norden and Austria-Switzerland are out, those groups being of just 4. Players from China and Middle East teams are 95% confirmed at this moment and will be added to the Teams page as soon as we have the new graphics.

Matchweek 1 is scheduled to start tomorrow as long as all teams post their rosters, so stay tuned.

Today has been reported MarxeiL has been targeted for spam on his social media and phone by an anonymous member of team (https://i.imgur.com/0fRdU6f.png) RUS . We also know an attempt has been made to extend this attack to other members of team (https://i.imgur.com/JIleiRt.png) UA. Due to the lack of cooperation from Russia to deal with the responsible individual/s we have no choice but punish their entire team, thus announcing:

About the stats and comp score:

We've asked players with admin not to use comp score when casually using the servers, doing trainings or after a match is over long before the NWWC started and continue to do so as often players don't regard our calls and continue misusing these tools. Restricting access to the servers would be hard to enforce and even refs have been found to do these mistakes so we've decided:

We hope these harsh measures will accomplish their purpose which is not to mess up with the Statistics. Given the situation players alter their stats by adding numbers up with comp score outside of an official match we have the right to drop them off from any and all statistics lists.

23/03/2022: Termito added as referee. Python added as caster.

Yesterday during a match between England and Ireland, the team captains asked everyone who wasn't signed up to cast or referee the match to leave the server. Coco_Ayala had admin and refused the referee & team captains' request, even though I'd also warned him personally. Due to the situation that happened above, Coco is removed from the referee team and the caster team this year.


China, the Balkans, and MENA team shields were added on the Teams thread.
