It's aims are to develop the light infantry competitive scene and to bring new players also to the competitive scene. The tournament is still to be developed and is very work in practise so there will be constant rule set changes and edits as well as FSE changes. The aim of this new tournament is to create a new scene for lights with equal skill levels with a new and interesting rule set to make the lights community more competitive and to drive a higher level of skill and leadership in settings other than regular infantry. The Group Stages will be best of 10 rounds. Play offs of this tournament will be played best of 10 rounds. in case of a 5-5 draw the match will continue till a 2 round lead is established with a team change each round. There will be no draws in the knockout stages. This thread is designed for the discussion and development of the tournament. feel free to post ideas, or anything else related to the subject on this thread. more threads to come soon. |

A Lights 1v1 tourney was actually attempted at some point but I think it was made as more of a laugh than anything else.
Like they even did an arty 1v1 tourney which was stupid but absolutely banter at the same time.

Last NWBC (where the 15th played lights) rule: 2.1 Fire in Charge (FiC) & Reload in Charge (RiC) are not allowed by any units.the 15th playing as lights so u can FiC etc which you normally cant as a line is one of the examples. From my point of view you were clearly for our opponent.I will be reviewing this recording with the other organisers (excluding skitty for obvious reasons.) please do keep in mind this is very experimental so things may go ary, if we find any obvious wrong doing we will take action accordingly

and during the match I saw several things that went against the rules like one fighting with a cavalry musket, I asked you to slay him but you didn't; another who was fighting with his little sword, same thing; and their officer was revived all the time after being shot in the middle of their formation.
And for finish on the 9th round they Fic like us in the 2nd round, but the player who Fic was not slayed and we didn't get reset whereas that was the same situation (everyone was always using x + left-click / right-click when we shot at close distance).
That + we were forbid to +1 so we played perfect balance despite having more men.

I think the 92nd Lights did more OA's tonight than all OA's combined in the EIC tournament.All were accidental, no cap. We were super unlucky :(

Even though the matches we have played thus far have not been awful, I agree that if this tourny happens again there should be an offical ref for each match. The lack of such at the moment feels like this tourny has already been abandonded by the creators.I was unavailable on the day
