I personally wish I had tried the 29th mega discipline despite most of my tenures not being so

I unironically appreciate the regimental experience

Probably 29th as well, our regiment picked up some of their old members once they disbanded probably because we were also very structured.

I would have also liked to be in some melee stack reg early on like the 12th or something so that way when I started my own regiment, good people would join it because at the end of the day its not about how good you are its more about who you know and who likes you. Lawbringer and Nappy are a good example of this

Just wish I'd never gone inactive in 2014 and kept playing with the 77y. Once I came back in 2017 they were already a bit of a ghost of the 2014 77y, although it was great fun to play with them in 2017 and still is in 2020.

Fun topic idea

For me it has to be the 14e at their prime. I was super close of joining them at some point and I am pretty sure I would have had a blast there but at the same time, I would have never gotten to experience 91st/92nd so that's a tough call either way.

If I was able to understand/speak german, being part of the 8Lr would have been one hell of an experience too.

or 85e back in 2016-2017 instead of taking a 2 years break right when they formed

Nock missing out on some free RGL palmares smh

I used to play with my first french regiment (61eGF) for quite a long time and enjoyed it, at this time I appreciated some regiments like 14e, Nr24 or 75e.

During my little break between 2016-2019 i would have played for the 85e or 15thYR probably.

USMC. I heard they weren’t very good but their leader JDF supposedly was a stoner who could do fantastic guitar renditions, especially anything from the Grateful Dead’s “30 Trips Around the Sun” live album box-set released in ‘96.

98% of the community came from or was in the 63e at one point. I bet the 2% that never were wish they got to experience the greatest regiment of all time.

No.

And I'm glad I was never in 63e.

I'm happy with how my regimental career has turned out, obviously I have some regrets but oh well.

The 29th would've been interesting, but I merced for the 9th once after they split from the 29th and that shit was cancer. I have never had someone tell me that I had to ask for "permission to fall out of line and go AFK." Was definitely an interesting evening, but it wasn't THAT bad considering the level of discipline they required from everyone there.

There are a few regiments of old that I would've liked to been a part of. The most notable ones would've been 12th and 9y. I was lucky enough to merc with the 9y a couple of events super early in my time in the game and it was an absolute blast. The level of melee skill that regiment had, for the time in the game, was insane. Same goes with the 12th, the level of skill that regiment had was also insane, my most memorable 1v1s was always 3eVolt vs. 12th back in the day. Playing against the 12th really helped make the 3eVolt into one of the best regiments in the game as we had to try to match the level of talent and skill the 12th had at the time. Something that newer regiments should do as well... *cough*

I kinda regret going inactive several times when I was in Nr12, 17e and in the former 92nd.

Wasting over 2k hours in csgo and in other games I never or rarely play again.
you're an old gen????

nice bait zzz

Just a quick question, who do you consider as oldgen ? People playing at what time?

probably ppl playing before 2014/2015
Well I discovered NW because of Flopz, so I'd have loved being in the 14e when I started NW in Summer 2014. Sadly I was only 14 :(

Generally I wish I would have gotten into infantry a lot earlier since big battles seem to have died out now. In which case, I could have stayed with 15e and then on to other good regiments and developed melee earlier when I had the time to as a kid.

If I was able to understand/speak german, being part of the 8Lr would have been one hell of an experience too.
8Lr would be the first regiment that would come to my mind. After leaving my first regiment, three German regiments were considered by my friends and me: The 1te Garde, the 6te Garde and the 8Lr. We ended up joining the 6te and had really intense 1v1s against the 8Lr. But I always wondered how it would be playing with them.

98% of the community came from or was in the 63e at one point. I bet the 2% that never were wish they got to experience the greatest regiment of all time.

I can read, cheers. Just pointing out that all the old regiments being mentioned and nobody said anything about the 2nd. At most it was 12 detachments and 200 / 12 = 16ish which is still more than the 27th can muster for most events  :)

NA 38e arty detachment, they were the shit
NA FKI when they were at their prime I guess since I talked to most of the people in that reg
EU 91st because I merc’d many times since my college schedule was open during that time to attend all the events and that’s when I was into lbs

all will be dead by 9y

12 is a lot of detachements. Thats not even true and you know it, NT at a dig though!

We are talking about older regiments that we wish we could have been a part of. 2nd Did nothing at all for the community and wasn't really an inviting enviroment for pretty much 90% of the people who use this forum and thats competitive players. If scooping up and merging in dozens of small regiments then disbanding what, 2-3 times is a contribution in your mind then you have at it bud.

For me its taking part in any of the larger international competitive regiments 2015-2017. I joined the 18th by Walter for some months until they disbanded. Im not an old Gen as I started playing in 2014. But I stayed out of competitive gaming on a higher level way to long.

I wouldn't say I have any regrets about any regiment I wasn't in. I just wish I played more in the old gen era as the game was more alive. While I partook in those times, it wasn't as conclusive as my tenure in recent years.

I've been pretty happy with my regiments overall. Gotten to experience a wide array of play styles. One regiment I would have wanted to try out just for a little bit would have been the 9y. Not many regiments suicide charge across the map at the beginning of the round and manage to kill half of the enemy team

Hekko's 15e or the old 1er

15e > Nr24

Achilles’ 13e and 51st
13e would have been good shit. Played once or twice with them but I think I was 51st at that point.

Deathstar's/Sophie's reg would have been good, I think it was the 27th or 29th? Before they joined the 51st and went inactive.

I almost joined the 5th KGL which would have been different.

That Polish regiment that beat Nr.24 by camping, because they had melee skill level of 33rd from 2013 and couldn't win otherwise.

Jockes aside I was in my favourite regiment back then which was 17e.
