Ok, but what if one nation has 2 squads? I mean, in Poland there are 2 teams at this moment. Each wants to be the "main squad", and each commander wishes to be the Cpt. I already proposed my rival 1v1 between our teams, and the winner becomes an official nation's represenation. Such thing took place in 2014 aswell, when 2 squads couldn't reach an agreement, and solution for that was just the same I mentioned previously (If I am not mistaken, it was a long ago, I may be wrong tho :P). Still, I think it would be fair for both sides.
Stephan is spot on tbh and that was discussed with a couple of other people. So far the rule in the CL is a great addition but let's be real, it only serves as putting pressure on the leaders to remind their guys to get rid of any potential modifications they may have forgotten to turn off, not catch real cheaters. It's really easy to circumvent that by joining late or re-joining after the first round (in case your cheat goes through an actual module).
One way to avoid that would simply be to give the referee the freedom to choose which round he asks the screenshots. Could be 1st, could be 3rd, could be 9th. You would still do it at the beginning of each round - before the live - to not bother people when they are playing (as losing focus for a mere 2 seconds can sometimes be the end of you) but that would make much harder for people to play around the system. Of course, those whose hacks can be turned on & off by a simple key in-game won't be affected by that doesn't mean we shouldn't try and work to catch those who can't afford that luxury.

Now let's move to the bracket. It's not hard, and someone literally posted a functioning bracket, to make a functioning bracket. And yes, believe it or not, tournaments do make decisions on what's in their own best interest which usually means keeping a level of hype and interest going throughout the tournament. Now obviously upsets are always great but allowing the tournament to be decided in the first two weeks is utterly ridiculous as is the general tournament format you chose to play in.I decided for this tournament to remain honest until the end and let chance decide. I could indeed have let France and Germany play last, but for what reasons? In the end England and Poland also have cards to play so it was left to chance to decide and you can only blame chance

The map being played as an official map is a complete laughing stock. The mapper either made it in like 2 minutes or just doesn't give two shits. In fact, I'd be embarrassed as a tourny host or mapper to present such a horrible map to what is supposed to be a tournament involving the best players in the game.

You did not set a map time limit, so the default ones is taken. When you go on the server you can see the map time limit is set to 40 minutes, which means when a round ends and 40 minutes passed, the map changes. This is normal server behaviour and has nothing to do with the script.

The games of the first weeks could not be counted. I apologize for that. The statistics were recorded from the second week onwards.
So, I was procrastinating and saw the nice data table in here. My conclusion was that I wanted to plot the columns by teams (in boxplots).
Results are mostly boring, but there are a couple funny twists and perhabs some hints about teamstrategies overall.
e.g. France did not only win, but also show a trend for the most teamkills (the winning strategy?).
I would guess that a lot of effects here are modulated by rounds won which usually means that more players are alive and can do stuff for longer in a given round. We first want to thank DragonKing and all the referees behind him who did an amazing job this year. The overall hype wasn’t really felt during the competition, but the matchs and the organization were on point.
We congratulate all the nations who participated in the competition. We enjoyed all the matchs we played, and we really did appreciate the size of the matchs played. We could always make play all of our players present for a night, and that made the matchs even greater. We salute the fairplay and the hard fight of Germany who threatened our title chances until the last round of our match, and offered us a match to remember.
We are happy to inform you that we made the choice to donate our whole cash-prize to an association called “Bleuet de France” (which helps wounded soldiers, victims of war and terrorism), something related to the napolenic era we played on.
We thank our 21 players (no need to count Tardet here) who showed us big skill, and awesome teamplay, which allowed us to take the title. And obviously, thanks to those who messaged and congratulated us.
