I just it would be a nice idea to have a quik lime shot for artillery. It was used frequently historically.

Two things. It was not used in the Napoleonic era, and lime is not lethal. In fact I think it's safe to eat. It's mostly just calcium.I've read in memoirs that lime was extremely effective, the juices would get plumes soggy and demoralize soldiers
I don't think you get the joke.
A lot of popular fiction suggests that you can dissolve a dead body to dust with quicklime, but in reality all it does is suck the water out and mummify it. It's good for covering up the smell though - keeps the Blue Helmets guessing for a little while.
Kator, my point was that he said 'lime' in the title which can, and usually does, refer to calcium hydroxide, which isn't at all dangerous.
