The first Regimental Groupfighting Tournament I have played started at 19:00BST if I recall correctly, had the same amount of team/players, with sometimes longer format (Ft7) and still finished at reasonable time.Hi there Mr Tardet, the reason we start at 6:30pm (which is what we did last time as well) is due to the fact we have now hosted this three times in a row the first time the tournament simply went on too long, and as this is a Sunday people start to have to go off at earlier times due to work, school, etc. Now the reason this tournament takes longer than previous ones is because we have a group stage + a knockout all to play in one night where as the previous host Karth only hosted a knockout tournament. I hope this is now clear for you, thanks.
Regardless of anything you can say, 6:30 is earlier than the time events are usually hosted on, as some people, even UK ones, are having their dinner, and I was simply curious on what were the reasons which decided you to pick such time. I'm still all but not convinced yet, your event, your rules. That's just clearly not convenient for us (frenchies) but I guess we'll manage for the occasion and rules are not made for the benefit of an individual (regiment) but for a majority so I guess the others will be fine ! :)
Edit : I guess it also depends on the number of referees/maps we'll have that Sunday, clearly can double or reduce the time by two.

Could you fkin stop spamming this thread with insults against each other ? It was one of the most balanced tournament i´ve ever participate . Except the final stage it was all great . Shooting shoot be disabled or script like it is on gf server that would be awesome and chat kinda forbiden but after all it was great.I agree, however these servers are hosted by regiments so its a hassle to do things such as that just before a match :)

I apologize for issues with maps etc. Due to my sudden departure there were alot off issues, these things happen. However hearing that alot of regiments enjoyed and were able to overcome these issues make me extremely happy.
Thanks to all the referee's especially. Events such as these could not function without you.
Now, all of you that do not have productive feedback, please do not comment or post it to myself directly. I have had quite alot of feedback in general.

I was just watching the event peacefully on spectators never spawned or did anything and I was permanently banned at the end by some random guy who had access to admin pass , next time please do not give admin pass to literally everyone or make it available to people on whitelist only .

Concerning the organization, I heard there wasn't the same maps on the 2 servers, that could have been arranged before the tournament I think but anyways, the 1st part of the tournament was perfect on our server, but for the finals, it was the disorder due to some trolls and the 66th ego who was taking the top of the all chat, this ego has woken these K-KA trolls then a big battle took place at the spawn and that was pretty annoying for us, I think the 72nd can confirm that.

The brackets were the way they were as we had originally created and announced them quite some weeks ago before all the French tryhards and a few others had joined them and made them the regiment they now are, as most of you know I was not online till 30 minutes before the tournament at which time there was still no second server and the ref's had not been organised at all so I didn't really have time to play around with the brackets.Yeah pretty much what I expected. More than welcome for the server - I didnt know the map that was provided was going to be small, we have a 10v10 tournament map on the server. Someone should have asked me if that was the case - thankfully herishey went through all the maps until he found a good one.
In terms of the final, we had waited a very long time, people were tired and bored at that point. I myself was starting to get a headache from looking at the screen for so long. These things really do need split over two days IMO. I'm not sure why all the "trolling" is being placed on our heads but we most certainly werent the initial instigators (some of us took part obviously). There were people jumping into our arena, shooting us on the way, bullshit in chat etc etc. Personally I think once teams are knocked out they should be removed from the server, or atleast forced to go spec. This happened not only in the finals but even in our group stages where people were in the arena (from another regiment) wounding us and the ref said go when we had not even said ready...
Not saying i'm not grateful for the refs that gave up there time but if there is bullshit happening around you for 3 hours, don't try and act surprised when people stop taking the tournament seriously. Otherwise thanks Herigay and Price for organising.
