Title: Need help.
Post by: TheDoctor on May 07, 2016, 09:35:39 pm
Ok, I am aware tale worlds is the place for this thread but as no one ever gives me useful instruction there I am asking here. I want to add a new weapon to as an option in multiplayer however it is not in the troops file (like NW) and I need help. I do not know where to go to change a multiplayer unit's weapon / gear options.

Here I need more help. I classified this as a musket instead of a crossbow in order to have a different reload animation the these purple makes show up where the bullets land. How do I get rid of them?

I don't know how to remove the, but you could replace animations in .brf files instead.

I do not know anything about modding but those purple things look like javelins, is that the problem maybe? Is is getting confused with the javelins?

When classifying the gun you must first classify its flags and then its capabilities. It is classified under the musket flag and then the crossbow capability. No matter what I do I can't get the purple lines to go away. When It was classified under the crossbow flag and the crossbow capability it (for some unknown reason) always use the rifle reload animations which is classified as a crossbow flag and a musket capability.

Maybe you should replace animations in .brf files instead, but I don't know if it will help you with what you are trying to do. If you are modding multiplayer module other people won't be able to see the changes, unless you send them your files.

Well I have changed the animations for the things classified as crossbows, muskets, and pistols yet this thing seems to only apears for the old LMG weapons that were classified as crossbows when I changed them to pistols or muskets.
