You're looking at this and thinking another NWL clone. You're wrong. Ok, so What the hell is this? The NWBC Is a league, similar to that of the NWL but with one spectacular difference. The NWBC expects it's teams to field around 70+ members spreading across 5-6 units. It will bring large regiments together and combine them into powerful forces, and pit them against each other and create incredible battles with a tactical dynamic where communication will be one of many keys to victory. |
General Information *Subject to change* *All battles must be admined by an Admin team, if not they will be discounted. *Only Large maps will be used, both regiment (not detachment) leaders must agree *No bonuses. *Battles are 3 rounds. *Both regiments must agree on an Admin team. ie 1/2 Admins must be present *Battles must be within the given match week. No earlier, no later. You are given a 1 time match week carryover that means if you cant play during 1 week you get one chance to fix that. The league doesnt slow down for you to catch up you have to then make up that lost week yourselves. *White chat is only to be used by Regiment and Detachment commanders, for questions and concerns that need to be be directed to an admin, nothing else. *Admin's decisions are not to be disputed in a match, but instead to be brought to a organizer afterwards. *If one team appears, they get a 3-0 win, if neither it is a tie. *All Charges may only be called when the following criteria is met - There is less than 15 people on each side - The timer is past 45 minutes - There is no cavalry alive on the battlefield - The bulk of the remnant is line infantry, at least 7 infantrymen (not including artillery) 80 is the ROUGH Minimum men required to play. 40 Line, 15 Cav, 15 Skirms and 10 Arty is the Minimum men you can bring to make the 80. The maximum limits will be as follows: ~ Line (Subject to balance), 15 Cav, 15 Rifles, 10 Arty. This creates 80 men, any above 80 men can only be bolstered by Line infantry. It's fairly common for tournaments such as this to be held after normal event times, at 8:00 GMT - I can see that happening a lot here with possibly 10 regiments (depending on coalition sizes) having to organize a 1 hour slot when many host their own events on various days of the week. So it may be better not to ask yourselves if your peoples can make it on a Saturday, but at the later time :)Indeed.

We free to use our own servers? From experience Dodo server often struggle with ping issues and performance. With the other brigades permission it makes sense to use our own if the chance is available.

I wasnt' here yesterday to play the match but I know what it happenned. I know that I confirmed the match on fse BUT I'm sure (because i'm not crazy) that I confirmed by steam the hour of 7.30pm gmt. I can't prove it because the steam historical chat isn't very longer ... For that, I contacted the steam support in case of they have some ancient messages.
I'm sorry but every lbs that we do like 1v1, BI Wednesday Event (https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=21509.0), 1erArt Friday Event (https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=24273.0) are at 7.30pm gmt . I hardly never organize lbs at 7.00pm gmt because it's too early for us, so do you think that I am sufficiently stupid to organize a NWBC match one hour before we always play ? It's make no sense !
The only one screen shot that I have is when i contacted Cooper (2Lhr) before I contact Ipoa (2Lhr) to organize te match. The lb wasn't confirmed by Cooper (offline) but I precised that we would play at 7.30pm gmt and not in gmt+1. Furthermore, when I organize lbs, iI never says hours in gmt+1 but in gmt only.

I hereby request that the leadership of Victorious Secret would be so kind as to confirm that this is indeed agreeable. Furthermore we would require Admins to oversee the battle.

Spoons claims he'd be able to Admin and Doge if that's ok with you I would like it too go ahead.
However now Zauberfisch is suddenly cancelling the match. If Spoons is not allows to admin I understand however if he is then the match should go on as planned. Therefore the 7th Coalition not showing and cancelling last minute should be seen as a forfeit.

Good day fine gentlemen,
in the name of the 7th Coalition I hereby announce our withdrawal from this championship regardless of any future progress in this season.
Unfortunately this NWBC Season has not been the most enjoyable experience for us. Before yesterday we haven't even played a single match. So in a sense, the event got cancelled before we even started. Sure, regiments leaving can not be avoided and the admins have no control over it. But there have been a series of other annoyances that lead us to be unsatisfied with this campaign.
I apologise to Victorious Secret for cancelling the agreed upon match on such short notice, but given the circumstances I do not feel compelled to continue.
Perhaps we shall meat each other on the battlefield at some point outside of the NWBC, or perhaps in another NWBC Season.

After the Three Countries now dropped out as well after 2 of their Regiments decided to pull out this league is finished now(if one can speak of "finished" in this case).
This seasons winner is Victorious Secret, congratulation!
Like I already mentioned before, as I don't think there would be much interest in a new season this most likely will be the end of the NWBC. Maybe there will be a revival at a suitable bannerlords mod if there is interest then again.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the few matches of this season and see you on other battlefields!
