Screw space battles, a nice story driven campaign, and a fun strategic mode; make way for a generic wave defense "survive" game mode, an on-rails AT-AT scenario, and a handful of single player or co-op "missions" (and some yet unannounced multiplayer scenarios that will most likely also be totally uninspired)
And they're already hocking DLC and throwing around talk of season passes et al. And of course, its EA we're dealing with so you know what to expect. (inb4 $20 Battlefront: Super Cool Space Battles that you Wanted but we Didn't Include in the Release as an "Artistic Choice" hahaha Suckers DLC)
And the ultimate insult:
Its gonna be $79.98 in Canada (thats 90+ with tax)...
$90 for a game with less than half the content of its 10 year old predecessor (and more for features you wanted that you can bet are being deliberately held back for another one of EA's patented DLC scams and/or to be added in the sequel to "revolutionize the series" - im gonna predict there will be at least $60 of DLC + season pass bs)

$60 is the standard price of AAA releases regardless of genre or platform. Get the fuck over it. Battlefront is awesome and i have been enjoying the beta since it came out a few days ago and am extremely pleased as a long time star wars and original battlefront fan. Every aspect of the game is extremely high quality. The map design is outstandingly good and the details they included are awesome. Just because it doesn't feature a story mode doesn't mean it isn't worth it. I wanted Battlefront to evolve, not to be rebuilt from scratch as a run of the mill battlefield clone with 1/100th of the content of a game that came out 10 years ago and nothing new or exciting.

Nope. But it has offline modus. I don't need a story in a game. I mean, it is nice if you can just follow a campaign or so. But have you seen the BF 4 Campaign. I know it was a technical test which I had no joining issues on PS4, but having the basic tutorial missions disabled in the beta is not the best idea for people to learn the ropes easily.

Stormtroopers = no clones, thats why this is very much possible. And the Empire wasnt as sexist as they were racist, there are actually multiple female officers in the empire.

The list of heroes is not very big.
It contains, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Leia, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Emperor Palpatine (?).
Not too sure about Palpatine though but can be.

One thing I'm worrying about is if they bring out too many heroes. I think that the amount we currently have will suffice.
I have two questions though: will we be able to customise our characters in the sense that we'll be able to change their faces and facial hair and stuff? Also, will people who haven't pre-ordered yet be able to play Jakku in the end? I really want to.

I have the feeling this game will be played very well.
Good, graphics, sound, casual gameplay and a good star wars feeling. Onlyhatersfans of the Battlefront franchise, people who like getting value for their money, and people that hate paying full AAA price for a shell of a game then partially filling it with payed DLC will say no to this.

I love how they avoided implementing any really unique star wars planets that would actually have required effort to put in the game (Coruscant, Naboo, Yavin 4, Death Star [seriously WTF a star wars game with no Death Star?], Bespin, etc. etc.
I don't like the clone wars just because the droids are way too cheesy in the new trilogy. It's fine with what they sticked so far. DLCs are standard by now I wonder why people still complain about that and then buy it anyways

That's true. But would love an invasion mode as one plays with the droids or clones against a planet with their rebellion species.
I doubt anyone is actually going to buy the expansions. People will be bored within a month and realize they wasted their money, no way would anyone pay another $50 on top of that.

20 planets, space battles, clone wars, 64 player capable multiplayer battles, dozens of unique weapons and vehicles, around 50 heroes and unique classes, galactic conquest, a nice little story mode, and instant action for $3, not bad.
