Title: Removing units from a faction?

I'm trying to create a mod, but I can't seem to find out how to remove a unit. I'm modifying Russia, and I want to remove all of the cavalry units. Any idea how I could accomplish this?

use moduler system with python works fine

Me here it says fac_russia and fac_russian_ranks replace it with fac_neutral.
