The Groupfighting Server boasts an excellent admin team to keep your experience as leisurely as possible. We use a variety of scripts to ensure that rule breaking is kept to a minimum. An active Leaderboard which displays your kills, deaths and their ratio to give the server a slight competitive feel. All of our maps are community made both new and old with new maps being added each month. that he should be banned: Today I was playing on the Groupfighting_Server. At around 12:07 (GMT+1), Flammeus excessively started insulting me and the 15tes KPR in German, you can translate it if needed. Later we started talking in English. I've told him several times to stop insulting me and to let me play, he kept on insulting and discussing, though. Even other players told him to stop annoying. He insulted me because he once was leader of the 15tes KPR, but he got expelled from his own regiment though (that's what I've got told), but that's not the point now. What I want to tell you is that Flammeus insulted me for no special reason.

In short I broke no rules leading to a permanent ban, in addition there was no warning before.

Why I was wrongly banned:
Before I begin, please take a note of all of your server rules; I have listed them for you below; none of these I broke:Spoiler1. No shooting (I didn't shoot)
2. Bayonets only (Yep)
3. No racism or discrimination of any kind (I was neither racist nor discriminant)
4. Do not abuse admins (Well the admins abused me)
5. Line infantry only (Ofc)
6. No impersonation (Yep)
7. No recruiting (Yep)
8. Do not delay the rounds (I didn't delay the round, I got back from fixing my sound and allowed the last man to duel whilst typing to the admin)
9. Do not spam the chat (I didn't)
10.Do not instigate arguements (I didn't)
11. No double spawning (I didn't)[close]
So I spent 20 minutes attempting to get on the server with goddamn awful internet; I am not sure if it was picked up on the logs but I kept joining and instantly losing connection. Anyway this put me in a sour mood however I am not the sort of person to break rules purely out of being in a negative mood. When I got into the server my sound broke, as you can see from the chat, and I found out what it was (as you can see from my chat saying "ah there we are" or something along those lines) whilst re-installing the drivers for the speakers I found myself running across to join the fight whilst commenting in chat about my teammates being alive. Before I got to the fight the round ended, my drivers still installing. My drivers finally installed with 2 opponents left; both in duels. I managed to get over there then did as almost EVERYONE of any level of honour does on the server and waited for them to duel; not necessarily out of honour but out of the fact that I have a policy from my old regimental days where you do not join a fight with 2 people or more already in due to the percentage chance of teamkilling flying through the roof; something I am more likely to be banned for; so I did as many many many many many many many (times those many's by 1,000,000) people do and allowed them to duel. This is not considered delay as both fights ended for victories for my side so time would not have been effected; bar me getting in the way of my teammates accidently; and everyone seems to do it at the end of the round on this server. It is part of the status quo. Anyway, admin complained at me because he no doubt was having a bad day and wanted to let it out on someone. Being a reasonable guy and understanding the power of words over actions I attempted to sit down at the table and explain myself to the admin, without letting me finish what I was saying the trigger-happiness began and I was slain.
So next round I typed my response; I admit it did not begin civilized but that was because I was in a poor mood and this guy was evidentially having a bad day and thus attempting to blame it on me. It then evens out to me explaining about him removing my rights and jurisdictions; please note this breaks no rules, furthermore it actually is supported by both UK and EU law; nothing racist nor discriminating was put in there, it was simply a complaint; something people need to learn to build up from; and I was banned from the server for this, adding to my lack of basic rights and jurisdictions, permanently.

Of course I don't wish to jeopardize my own situation however... Walwin is German and as such his native language is German not English; to punish him because he misspelled his name and uphold his ban until he can re-post on the 28th; when there is a high chance his grammatical and spelling mistakes were due to his nationality or due to him simply forgetting his rather complex name; is harsh in-deed. He did try to spell his name correctly and also acknowledged he was wrong; promising not to do it again.
I once again repeat I have no intention of making my own situation worse but this is a serious issue in my opinion, he gave you the information you needed, with a few mistakes.

I was permanently banned from the server, around 8 pm GMT yesterday (18 of November 2014) by this same admin. Why did it happened? Well...I don´t know, because the admin did not made any warning about anything. I was not using my regiment tags - I was using an alias, with the character name Ebola_for_US_President_2016. Was it because the name was offensive? Well, it does not appear offensive to me, or racist, or sexist, or anything at all. I have seen people using nouns like Ebola, Hitler, Stalin (recently, I saw two people on the same server named Kill_All_Communists and other called Kill_All_Fascists), while never being banned from the server.
But the main issue is not even that. The main issue is that the admin didn´t said anything on the admin chat, which I believe is the norm that the admin has to follow every time something happens that does not follow the rules of the server. But the admin that banned me didn´t do that - he kicked me from the server, then I re-entered it, I asked the admin why he banned me, and like 5 to 10 seconds latter after I asked the question, I was permanently banned. There was no offensive name, no intentional teamkilling from my part or any bad comments on the server written by me. What happened was an abuse of admin power. Unfortunately, I didn´t reacted fast to take a picture of the admin who banned me (because I was briefly in a state of shock with what happened), but I was able to see that it was someone from the 91st regiment. I already told the leader of the EU team of my regiment about what happened, and he of course suggested that I should post a complain on this server.

I kicked you and told you to change your name i always type in admin chat first before kicking you could have missed it, but you came back in with the same name and sat in spec. Your name is likely to cause arguments on the server that is why i told you to change it and some people may find it offensive in some way, i had in mind that is a troll on the server too coming from the name you had and after you came on again with the same name i had in mind that is just a normal day to day troll. No one else found your name entertaining or amusing and regards to the people you see using names like that, they will be told to change it if is too out of hand. Perhaps you did ask, but i am guessing is spectator chat and people that are alive in game can't see it, but I will certainly and happily reply if you ask why you should change it

Crocve, it is fine that you are confused about the reason for your ban, that you didn't read the admin/missed it or it may have not been posted at all like you say, but you can't demand things to happen in 5 hours. This, after all, is a private server, paid for and hosted by members of the community. I am sure that if you contact PrideofNi or Maurice they are more than happy to check the logs for you (if you contact them politely and provide them with the necessary information) and to possible even investigate the admin in question (if that would be applicable).If it is like that why some 91st recruits can Perma-ban... There is also temp-ban that could be used and if Crocve was such big troll they could log-ban him easily later. I don't approve his name but I also don't approve people being easy on perm-ban button.
