Date and Time
This event will take place on ..
Rules (May change)
1. No Shooting.
2. No other units than normal Line Infantry can be used.
3. Only ranker classes are allowed, meaning bayonets only.
4. No fistfighting.
5. Rounds will be first to 5, semis and the final match will be first to 7. (This may change depending on how many teams sign up)
6. This is NOT a Regimental Groupfighting Tournament, so anyone can sign up.
7. Respect your oponents and the referees/organizers.
8. Referees and organizers will use common sense throughout the tournament, their calls count, so respect their decisions.
9. Team names should be short and non-trollish, so that the organizers can easily recall your full name and call you into the arena.

As I said organization wise it was between good and excellent, just improvements would be obviously utilizing all arenas, sometimes there would be only 1 match going on instead of 2 or 3, which can be supported by more admins I guess. And the only other complaint is that the admins focus on the matches, preferably with a pen and paper if they are not good at memorizing scores (admin communication with one another). But map wise was good map, only had 1 issue with a guy who went outside the arena by accident, then we had to fall back and allow him to get back in, but overall map is fine. Yeah, some admins were new, but went well. I am sure they gained a big experience now.

I think the main reason for the lack of teams was because of the short notice and not enough advertisements. There is a lot of potential for tons of more teams from other regiments and groups of friends. I think people should encourage others to make teams with their friends, and to also get the tournament known/have more is a nice idea to boost awareness of it.
Also, it seems that not a lot of players bother to look at the forums. You should try to get it advertised in public servers.
Trust me, I always advertise everyone. BUT! depends on the people to sign up or not.

I'd very much oppose this. It was tried before and failed miserably. Some areas are way too strong and in general, Groupfighting requires consistant attendance. For instance Mountain region didn't even get a proper team together meaning players like myself would not partake in such a tournament, which I find unfair. You are right about the fact that most states would have very few players, but that doesn't matter. If one state has one very good player, that state can still easily compete (example: Mexico => Zzehth). Some states would be heavily competed and then the player winning there would stand more of a chance in winning his entire region, wheras the player getting an automatic win will probably get knocked out straight off. I think that the state system for duels would be more interesting and more easily doable.

Ugh, please do take the time to read previous posts aswell instead of just posting something immediately. You will fight for each state in Canada aswell, meaning Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and so on. Then once the State Champions are determined you will fight for Champion of Eastern and Champion of Western Canada, exactly like with the US.

Well, To be quite honest JackieChan I wanted to be nice in that wording to I didn't want to sound like a smartass or anything I just wanted a clear explination on why you guys run everything every player does in this community you can only do so much you know what I'm saying, I know you guys do a lot for us but you guys gotta realize you can't seperate everything from 1 thing.
For example NANWL bans shouldn't be involved in this is what I'm trying to get at I couldn't probably make it anyway I'm just being honest though you guys gotta relook at what your doing at least the EU NWL doesn't act like they run the whole community just contribute to it in a good way thats how you guys should be doing it.

Basically, we reserve the right of admission. We try to keep the best environment possible, troll free/insults and any troll behavior.
So we decided to combine NWL and GF, since we are the same Administration Team. Honestly, you guys only cause problems/drama.

I really really do see your point their is too many people that disrespect what you guys contribute and I agree totally and they abuse it and act upon to just destroy the fun in your events even whilst unbanning them but 2 wrongs don't make a right and I think you guys should edge more on contributing more then just telling people for example on NA_GF to ban people from NANWL.
For example when I got banned on NA Groupfighting it was because I was trashing the NANWL thread which I regret and apologized greatly on NA_GF thread (posts were deleted) Zzehth was of course really angry about it took it out on me and banned me on NA_GF but as no where in the rules state the server is run by NANWL or anything like trashing an FSE thread so Label got mad at Zzehth for it etc. but I took it to their thread to let my anger loose on Zzehth which made me stay banned so far for awhile till I learn from what I done so imagine if I didn't even say another word and let my anger loose at Zzehth because I believe he banned a friend of mine I would be unbanned from now, but everyone just has to get along whether your Pro-NWL or Anti-NWL everyone just has to face the facts to fix this community from its broken pieces.
Anyways I just want to apologize for anything and if you guys want me to I will stop posting on the thread to keep things more Civil and encourage others to do the same so we can have a great Groupfighting Tournament
EDIT: Zzehth I completely agree what you say and I applaud what you guys are doing and try to keep this a troll free environment but yea, I just think their should be some seperate council of administration for different parts of the events/servers
But to be honest we really do cause it and Infact I'm sick of it and starting to realize I'm also one of the great contributes to it and I should also stop so I can regain a good reputation rather then having this one I have right now

The reason you were rebanned was because you broke the promise you had made to get unbanned. You jumped between regiments a bunch again (71st to 92nd, 92nd to Nr21, Nr21 to 18th and I might be missing some). I do understand your claim for not wanting to be banned from this tournament and I suppose we could make an exception. You haven't behaved poorly and your ban was based on your regimental choices rather than your personality. I'll talk to Zzehth.

I was thinking in giving people some type of reward for winning a group-fighting tournament. And I thought it would be more professional and cool to give "official" medals for their effort. Only GF Champions are allowed to use them. Depending on how many times you have won, the number of Medals.
Its for the players, not for the teams.
