Merci!

It depend's about your objectives and what are you preference. If you like the cultural aspect of france you can go in Paris to visit all the monument, in normandy to see the D-day museum and the "Mont saint michel" and you can go in the east of france to visit the museum about the WW1 (when i say east i think about the Lorraine, and picardie(wagon de l'armistice)... All areas in france have speciality but you mustn't forget that our coutry is a macrocephaly.

YVELINES 78 VERSAILLES, VIVE NOTRE BON ROY.

If you want to see France, you have to drop by Paris. It would be silly not to go there if you're travelling already more than 8 thousand miles.
But I'd also suggest going around Paris as well, try visiting Lille, Bordeaux and if you feel patriotic, give normandy a go. Provence is also a nice region (Aix-en-Provence being a beautiful cosy and a bit wealthy town).
If you want any help in transport in France (trains, planes, buses and so on) feel free to contact me; I'd be more than happy to help you out.
here's my steam ID: king_rob59
enjoy your holiday, and even though it's late - Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas !

Firstly, you have an impressive french if you learn it since only 2 years!
Like others said, you have to go to Paris, as we consider it as the modt beautiful city in da world.
Then, some place are very interesting, such as Strasboug, Bordeaux or Lyon, if you want to visit France you need to see other places.
Plus, if you don't look too young you will be able to drink alcoohol, this is not too strict, try our wines and alcohols !
If you have any question, feel free to ask.

I agree with the others, you must come in Paris ;) When you'll be there you can go to the Palace of Versailles, and take a day-trip to the D-Day location.
When do you plan to come ? If i'ts in summer, feel free to add me on steam, I work in the Palace of Versailles :P
And don't worry for drinking, here 16 will be OK to drink whatever you want ^^

I haven't posted anything here in a while, but here's a small update (excuse the English :D). I'm going to be going during July, three nights in London to actually meet up with some old friends (old colonel and officer in the 13th! :D) and then five nights in Paris and surrounding areas. This will actually be in Paris during Bastille Day (good? bad?), and I'm definitely going to Versailles and the Louvre and the typical places. But, I definitely want your take, as the NW community, in reference to anything historical to see (like good Napoleon's grave or something) or anything you personally enjoy. My French has gotten a bit better, will be finished with two years under my belt by this time. What do you think?

I would suggest you to go to Les Invalides. There you'll find Napoléon's "grave", and the museum of the Army.

Sorry for my incomprehensible French, I know it causes physical pain to native speakers :(

Well the "grave" is bigger than a car so yeah, let's say big grave. ::)

Un Américain à Paris, oui
Some time has passed since I've returned from my trip, but I think I owe it to you guys to share my thoughts on my experience. I've gotten better since last time at my French, et je commence la 3e année scolaire que j'étudie le français.

in English to return your favor: I'm so glad you enjoyed it that much ! It's a great chance you had to be there for the 14th !! This year was a special one because they fired from the Eiffel Tower, so from your fancy room in the 16e that was probably epic !!
It's great too that you loved the NW museum, maybe it could have been better if a French born guided you as for Versailles :((
