Title: What button is your push to talk key?

I used to use CapsLock for NW, and Ctrl for ARMA3 ACRE, but nowadays I just have voice activation.

I use 1 for Officer Whispers, 2 for NCO whispers, and 3 for friends :)

I've been out of the community since joining uni due to the fact they block all ports, and each has to be opened customly, and you can only unlock 50...
I mean... the 75th and 91st died in my absence... you know this... yet you still link me here ¬.¬

Whisper 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9 on the number pad... because I'm pro like that and have many people I want to secretly annoy without it appearing socially unnacceptable.

I use ~, I changed "view equipment" to q, and quest tab to left-alt.

I have mouse button 5 as Push to talk, and mouse button 4 as whisper.
It enables me to move my mouse, and still have a hand free for keyboard.

For NW controls I reversed my left and right mousebutton, so attacking is right and blocking is left.

I used to use 5 on my numpad so as to stop me ever accidentally mic spamming. However when ever I was given the order to command the line it became awfully tricky to give out orders as well as play. now my "\" key does the job.

The scroll whel on my mouse and i just push down on that. I think it is mouse button 3.

The best push to talk key is <, it's easy to press when advancing/fighting on ALL games and the main good thing in that key is that it isn't used in 90% of the games.

I use Q, and i crouch on Ctrl instead then. Im more used to crouching on Ctrl in other games aswell, so its a win win situation!

For NW I use the V button. I don't know, it's comfortable really... its a shame there is no universal ''push to talk'' button on keyboards :p i have to change it for every game pretty much, so annoying!

Here's an idea -- Put voice activation on, but turn up your mic sensitivity (located in the options). This is what I do, and thus breathing or a knock or background noise doesn't affect you, but you don't need to keep applying push to talk :)

I used to use \ for ptt and z for whisper, but after a couple awkward moments of pressing one when meaning to press the other, I relocated my whisper to Num 0. Given that I don't use the whisper in melee, it actually works out fine. If I had a mouse with more buttons, I might use them instead, but, you know, money.
