Welcome to the NW Groupfighting thread! We aim to achieve the best most satisfying groupfighting experience for all players, by being complimented with: a smooth server, greatly designed maps (with minimal fps lag), and overall a fantastic server atmosphere. The server is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany and offers maximum bandwidth being centered on solely the server. This means that this server has a whole server box all to itself, offering spectacular performance! This server is managed and owned by Hekko and Hawkes. Overall we offer great performance, a great variety of maps, and a great overall community vibe! We don't consider ourselves a privately hosted server, as we're open entirely to the public. Your voice will be listened to if you want change, as we want you to have a rollercoaster of a time on our server.

Here are the rules that we expect you to follow - we will also post the corresponding punishments if you were to break these rules - so please do not break them!

1) This server is a melee only server. This means no shooting at other players! -  1x =Slay + Warning/ 2x = Kick/ 3x = Ban

2) If you have the option of going as russian partizani or russian line militia, please do not choose these classes! - 1x = Slay+ Warning/ 2x = Kick/ 3x = Ban

3) Do not purposefully teamkill! If it is accidental, please apologise. 1x = Slay or Kick/ 2x = Kick or Temporary Ban/ 3x = Permanent Ban

4) As cliché as it is... Have fun! 1x = Super happy awesome time/ 2x = OMG THIS IS A-MAZ-ING/ 3x = THE AMOUNT OF FUN I'M HAVING IS MAKING ME SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUST!

5) Anyone can recruit here!

Word has it he's editting 1-2 of his maps with easter eggs in, so that they're groupfighting friendly.

- Also massive thanks to Hoopy/Xtremebadger for his photoshopperingaling. Made some fancy titles, and he may be the new Groupfighting Tournament photoshop guru. He'll also be making some signatures for this thread, so if you could show your support that'd be fantastic.

Do yourself a favour. And don't continue on this. Get the point and quit it. Theres a reason you've been muted before. If you only post with the purpose to flame/hate. Then don't post at all. I'm sure you wouldn't like it either when you made a server, people come along and call it a QQ server.

No point continueing it Biggun. Just see it as a warning. You've broken the Forum rules. And it's perhaps wise to stop it before an admin gets into this.

Trench Warfare will be updated so that some of the smoke particle effects will be removed - this will vastly increase fps.

- It'll also be nice to see some more leaderboard submissions! Let's see if we can rival James Gunn. ;)

Server has been updated with new trench warfare version 2. Minimal fps lag guaranteed on this map now!

As a sidenote, we are getting a good frequent number of players on the server throughout the day. Keep up the good work.  :)

May I make the suggestion, that you should limit the amount of props. In nearly every picture I see a map with allot of props. Most of those are just usefull. Believe me, once someone is fighting in melee, he really won't be watching the map.

And it might just save some people fps lagg etc.


Just a suggestion, do with it what you want. :P

Just a suggestion, do with it what you want. :P

The Trench Warfare map was recently updated to remove some props to increase fps lag - alot of our maps don't contain alot of props. But I do understand what you're saying. It's always nice to give the maps a bit of an identity too!

We will be updating the Courtyard map (Which Coconut made, not Lyra! My mistake!) with Coconuts updated version.

Sorry my good lad. I have been having huge computer issues, but hopefully I can get things rolling and downloaded by sunday evening. Currently installing steam. :)

I've returned from my break from NW - I've had reports of admins abusing their powers, and handing out the password. The password has now been changed, and the server shall return to stability. The server is now once again open to improvements - PM me or message me on steam if you're a current admin on our new list, wishing to obtain the password. Some admins have been removed, and will require an application in order to be renewed once more (if they are accepted).

We apologize for any inconveniences there have been!
