Title: 15th regiment's 'eliteness' and ignorance

This topic is suppoused to be a warning concerning the 15th regiment of foot, run by people known as cenkris and madvixen. Now let me explain this:
I got permabanned on 15th Bots vs Humans a very long time ago for building defences as the attacker. I will not comment on what made the admins make this decision, and simply state that I do not agree with it at all. I flamed the admins quite a lot on taleworlds forums and in other places. It's been two months since my ban now, and I joined a certain regiment that has it's linebattles on 15th's servers. Thus, I decided to grit my teeth, apologise, promise to never break the rules again nor comment on admins' work and ask for an unban.
For some reason - that will reveal itself once one of the 15th decides to drop by here and explain - admins don't even look at the unban section of any forums or any posts in their threads asking for an unban, merely limiting themselves to posting about how many new maps they are going to get and how good they did last round, I decided to get on their teamspeak server to talk to them about this. I changed my name, because I feared that Fritz(my mb nickname) would instantly get me banned from the server(happened anyway) and this happened:

After which I noticed the following message:

<18:36:37> You were banned permanently from the server by "Jack Bandy" (Refusing to cooperate)

Which itself is a lie, for while I didn't at all like what the admins did, I tried cooperating despite I was doing it against myself - it seems though that 15th regiment of foot decides to cover itself from anything that could damage it's reputation and instead of addressing the matter, ignores it. I am not the first, nor the last, nor the hundereth one that has been banned by 15th and has never been looked upon again.

As I have said, this thread is suppoused to be a warning to people to not trust the 15th and be on your guard while you talk to them, play on their servers and do anything that involves them. They are a generally untrustworthy, dishonourable and arrogant group in my experience.

3. This is in the wrong section of the forum.

4. You are not allowed to post private conversations, by the look of it you have not got MadVixen's permission.

5. The reason that you banned, doesn't really mean anything, it is just to get rid of you. I was once banned from a TS for "being a British faggot" and I'm clearly not a bundle of twigs.

6. And as far as I'm aware the 15th have a policy of no unbans, you should of taken this into consideration when breaking the rules.

This is pretty much the case, regardless of whether or not you have broken any rules. If you aggravate them, be you in the right or wrong, expect swift retribution. Petty, but when you rent a server then you can go about using it as you wish.

I can't say I entirely agree with the no unbans policy for a public facing server but given the volume of people going through it I can see how chasing down every unban request would very quickly add up to a sizeable amount of time for somebody and Warband's ban system isn't exactly supportive of the process.
Unless whoever bans the person writes up an "after action report" to be filed somewhere, then the person dealing with the unban request goes and checks it you will never truly know why someone was banned to begin with.

Ultimately it is all "work" for somebody.

Moderator hat - Get permission for the chat log and you can post it, otherwise unfortunately rules are rules.

He just decides not to as everyone that isn't in 15th and a select few regiment are "Trolls". Whilst admining servers such as my own server or the Groupfighting server I have had more trouble with 15th members (Not all, some are decent and follow the rules) than any other clan or Regiment.

I've known Cenkris for over a year and he has certainly changed, I guess when a Man and his Girlfriend lead a Regiment it's going to have massive effects on how it is run.

I've also heard that 15th members are not even allowed to Merc for other Regiments due to the paranoia of the Officers.

I have spent extended periods of time around them, and while some of their rules and officers strike me as somewhat assholeish, most of them - including Cenkris and MadVixen - are actually alright people. They just have different ways of working to what is the norm.

Because the 15th is so massive, hosts so many events and has such a large population on the public community, their influence has spread far beyond other "weird" regiments. What happened here isn't really anything to look at.

Everyone should get over it, realise that they're extremely strict and quite odd in their running, and move on.

The reason why they do this is to get rid of all the trolls, and I got to say, it works quite well for the Humans vs Bots server. You broke the rules, you face the consequences. I am not doing this with my siege server (33rd_NW_Siege) as I like to give people a second chance, but that is just how a server is run, and a no-unban policy certainly has its advantages.

Also Cenkris and Madvixen are nice people, as long as you are nice to them. You might disagree with what they do, but that doesn't make them bad people right away. I get along with them very well and just saying their are *ssholes without you even knowing them well is bad in my opinion, but oh well, I guess people will always have an opinion about others.

I love you Nutty <3 I was banned from the 15th for joining another Teamspeak, LOL but shite happens.

But as for the HvB having admin'd it myself their no unban rule makes sense as there is just so much going on so its a case of break the rules and deal with it.
