Someone did something like this before, they made a steam group where they would periodically send out announcements about regiments and events. They had nearly 150 people but I don't know if they are still around.

Sadly the mods made up a new rule that instant mute you, if you make a small quote pyramid.
Instead of warning the community about this new rule, they let people find out the hard way, including me.
I couldn't work on this for a week, because a mute will exclude you from PM'ing. (I'm using PMs to work on NWN).
