Exactly. You have to sign up for it... And I'm kinda of an introvert.

And I don't think I've got the stomach for this. I'm a coward, okay  :P

Doesn't really matter though, as long as you shoot good they can't complain that you are silent or anything. :D

Let's first wait until it's legal. After that, who knows...

More then likely I'll be the crazy machine gunner which keeps getting himself killed because he keeps charging groups of enemies.

Hussar style.

Illegal.
It is getting legalised though. Just hang on.

Even then, I don't have a social life. Which is kinda of necessary to play.
Nah, man! If you don't have a social life, it's a good way to make friends. Even if you are introverted like me, if you and a stranger are under fire from an enemy position, you'll have to work together. You can make friends that way. If you have a few friends already, then go for it. You're a reenactor, right? You must have a few buds from that that would jump at the chance to airsoft once it's legalized.

In fact, the only people I talked about air-soft (real life) are re-enactor mates. Oh, irony.

Speaking of charging hussar-style, I can recall a game where three enemies where holding a mound of dirt in the center of the battlefield and basically shooting down our team in hordes so I had my friend (His loadout was a German bundeswehr pointman) lay down heavy fire on their right side as well as throw a smoke grenade to make them think an attack was coming on their right. Meanwhile I snuck around their left flank (I'm a sneaky bastard, I like to consider myself an infiltration expert) and when I took aim with my primary weapon, I realized I had made a terrible mistake... I had forgotten to reload between the previous game and the current one. Having naught but one bb left I set the F2000 aside and drew my Browning Hi-Power pistol and charged doing my best impression of a Native American warcry and fired round after round into the guys on the mound. I dropped all three of them and climbed the mound and shouted my native american warcry as loudly as I could  8)  I ran like hell to grab my F2000 and get back to spawn for more ammo after several bbs flew past my head and into the ground at my feet ;D
