Introduction

Although the NWCT is referred to as a "tournament", due to its small scale and non-regiment/nationality-relation, it functions like a league. It consists of 16 teams (EU), without groups, where teams can earn points through the outcome of their matches. The intention of the tournament is to both provide the cavalry community with new and exciting events, but also help lay the foundation for the soon-inbound cavalry community list(s).

Rules - How Things Work & In-Game Rules Rules - Updated Last 29.02.2016 How It Works §1. Teams will battle each other in a "best of 10" mode. §2. You gain a point for every round won. §3. Teams consist of three players. §3.1. Having reserve players is optional. §3.2. You can have a maximum of two reserve players. §4. Participators cannot be in more than one team. §5. Teams are circulated every 4 days 5 days. §6. The tournament will continue until all teams have faced each other. §7. The team which at the end of the NWCT has the most points, wins. §8. When applying as a team, keep the team name simple and mature. §9. Teams with offensive or provocative names will not be accepted. §10. Participators with offensive or provocative names will not be accepted. §11. Changing (team) names once accepted is not possible. §12. Adding/changing players, etc., is no longer possible after the deadline. §13. Reserve the servers with referees for your planned matches. §14. You must have organised your matches by the third day. In-Game Rules §1. All participators must play hussar, ranker at all times. §2. Available factions are: All apart from Russia. §3. The referee decides upon the factions, but can take requests. §4. Two of the same factions cannot face each other, i.e. France vs. France is not allowed. §5. The map has to be agreed upon by both sides. §5.1. There will be no side swap - not even on request. §6. Both team captains must state that their respective teams are ready before every round commences. §7. Team captains can ask for a temporary break with the referee. §7.1. If the opposing team does not agree to a temporary break, the game will continue. §8. All chat is otherwise forbidden. This rule exists to prevent discussions. §8.1. This includes chatting before and after the match (like "Hi" or "gg"). §9. Trolling is also of course forbidden; this includes trolling someone in Steam during a match. §10. Breaking any of these rules will result in losing a point. The tournament host decides. §10.1. Breaking §8 and §9 will result in an additional minus point (= -2 points). §11. These rules apply at all times on the servers even when there's no match going on. §12. Be mature and noble. This is a cavalry tournament, not an infantry tournament. §13. Glitching (or sticking to) is also forbidden (rocks, trees, walls, etc.). §14. You can ref' your own matches if you're a referee and both sides agree on it. §15. The host only can subtract points from teams, in relevance towards §10, and §10.1. If a problem occurs; 1) Take it up directly with the administrator over Steam. 2) Screenshot it and take it to me. - Teams can lose points even after the match has finished. - [close]

I just don't want any "innocent banter" which the other side considers offensive, etc. You should have been in enough tournaments and leagues to know how fast the tides can turn.
