Introduction:

Hey guys, this is a small project for myself to start improving on using the Photoshop and helping others at the same time. I wish to test and improve on my skills as I am looking to do this sort of stuff later on in the future. I am taking any kind of requests (Obviously need to be sensible) and will work in my own pace when time allows me to do them. This can vary as some days I am busy and some I am not, so I hope no-one gets angry if I don't finish theirs quickly and take a bit of time. I hope you guys make some creative requests and I will get onto it as quick as I can!

Events: EU / Archers Monday Linebattle (EU)

Archers Monday Linebattle

Basic Rules:

-Firing in a charge is allowed.
-Any regiment excepting artillery must join another line when down to 3 men or less.
-Generals are only allowed if I am contacted before the event has started. The General must be in charge of several regiments or detachments. When the regiments are dead or has 3 or less numbers he must dismount and join a friendly line.
-Do not rambo, troll, teamkill etc. you will get a warning and then a kick. If it is repeated again a temp-ban will be issued.
 

Line Infantry Rules:

-Minimum 6, maximum 30.
-No firing out of formation.
-If less than 4 men must join another line if possible.
-No crouching whilst firing unless in a double rank.

Cavalry Rules:

-Minimum 6,maximum 15.
-Dragoons must be stationary when firing and in some semblance of a line.
-May dismount and fight in skirmish tactics.
-Must dismount and join a line if 3 or less people. Allowed to ride to an friendly line to dismount.

-May use 2 man spacing.
-May crouch when stationary.

Joining the event:

The event starts at 7.00pm GMT The sign ups are on forums and teamspeak if a regiment wants a last minute spot. Regiment representative must be in teamspeak at 6.30 GMT. The balance will be sorted on the teamspeak by one of the 9th Brigade officers and details will be handed out to the regimental representatives. The event then will start at 7pm GMT and will last 5 Rounds with 3 on one map and 2 on another map. The maps will be chosen to make it fair as much as possible for both nations. If any problems during the linebattle discuss it after the linebattle on the teamspeak.

How to become a regular attender:

To become a regular you must attend at least twice in a row and behave during the event without breaking any rules etc. Becoming a regular will mean you will have a reserved spot in the linebattle meaning no-one else can take it.

The 15th Hussars is a British Light cavalry regiment focused on quick and deadly attacks
which shock our foes into submission. . As Hussars we mainly focus on catching Skirmishers and Artillery off guard using
our speed and maneuverability, but by no means will we be too scared by the lines. We are considered to
be one of the best English speaking cavalry regiments, meaning we keep discipline and fun in the balance
for the full experience.

Changing to Hussars For the remainder of 1805, and throughout 1806, the regiment was stationed at Radipole barracks, and there underwent  conversion to Hussars. The troops were then ordered to be held in readiness for foreign service, but did not leave during that year. Following a review by the Prince of Wales and the Duke of York on the 20th July on Hounslow heath, the regiment moved to Woodbridge barracks. There, along with the Seventh and Tenth Hussars and two troops of Horse Artillery, they formed the first Hussar Brigade to be seen in England, under the command of Major-General Lord Paget. A review of this Brigade by the Commander-in-Chief on the 5th October drew warm praise. Battle of Sahagun About seven hundred French horsemen stood opposed to between three and four hundred British sabres; the disparity of numbers was great, but Lord Paget had unbounded confidence in his men, and he led the regiment at speed against the opposing squadrons. Stimulated by his noble example, the Fifteenth dashed forward with resistless impetuosity. The French, who had beheld the beautiful order of the march in column, had still the firmness to stand the charge; but they were overthrown in an instant, [The 15th over difficult ground charge the 1st Provisional Chasseurs and the 8th Dragoons] and dispersed in every direction; pursued and overtaken, some sharp fighting took place; many of the enemy fell beneath the sabres of the King's Hussars; two Lieut.-Colonels, eleven other officers, and one hundred and fifty four private soldiers, were made prisoners; one hundred and twenty-five horses, several mules, and a quantity of baggage, fell also into the hands of the victors: the remainder of the French Dragoons escaped to Santarbas.When this affair was over, Lord Paget expressed to the officers and soldiers his thanks for the very gallant manner in which they had conducted themselves; their superiority over the French Dragoons had been decidedly established; the loss of the Fifteenth was limited to two private soldiers and four horses killed; Lieut.-Colonel Grant, Adjutant Jones, eighteen rank and file, and ten horses wounded. The distinguished conduct of Lieut.-Colonel Grant was rewarded with a medal; Lord Paget also received a medal; the conduct of the Hussars was commended by Sir John Moore, and the regiment was subsequently honoured with the royal authority to bear on its appointments the word "SAHAGUN", to commemorate this spirited action." Following this gallant event was the dreadful retreat to Corunna in which many hundreds of British soldiers were slaughtered or simply died in the close pursuit by Marshal Soult and, at a distance, Napoleon himself. At Benevente Hussars of the 10th and 18th just as famously defeated Napoleon's famed Chasseurs à cheval alongside a detachment of the elite Mamelukes, both of the Imperial Guard. Yet all these fine actions did the Hussars brigade little good, for although their constant efforts in the rear guard saved Sir John Moore's army there was no space on ship for the surviving, famished horses of that brave brigade. And in the words of Private Thomas Pococke of the 71st "On my return to the camp I witnessed a most moving scene. The beach was covered with dead horses, and resounded with the reports of the pistols that were carrying this havoc amongst them. The animals, as if warned by the dead bodies of their fellows, appeared frantic, neighed and screamed in the most frightful manner. Many broke loose and galloped alongst the beach with their manes erect and their mouths wide open". And so it was that the Hussars left the Peninsula, not to return for several years with the fame of their efforts at their back.

The 15th at Sahagun, December the 21st 1808.
"Having rode together nearly a mile, pell-mell, cutting and slashing, the men were quite wild and the horses blown."
The French had in fact believed they were being charged by Spaniards with one French prisoner saying "it was some
consolation to have been beaten by English cavalry."
