Technical Support / Re: Servers aren't working
« on: November 03, 2020, 09:39:50 am »
I had an event today at 7pm and tried joining, no servers were showing up at first I thought it was because a lot of people were joining at the same time, but even an hour later and still nothing. I restarted the game multiple times, reinstalled it twice, restarted my computer, restarted my internet, i tried changing the max_number_of_connections in the rgl_config file, changed the use_sexure_connections. Its not a problem with my computer or internet for sure. Can anybody help me with this, cheers.  ;D

Had a similar problem! Would appreciate the help as well!

I can agree with the previous answers, however I think not everyone went to war. Europe with still big on agriculture and people had to survive somehow. Therefore, I guess many people including men did work on the fields. Also, children had to help out by working and probabaly joining the forces as soon as they were old enough.

Might be the most default answer but imo it's actually Napoleon, due to him using the Corps-System and defeating much larger forces.
He just was a little bit too greedy.

Can agree with Flexi, altough there were many others I think he was most successful!

General Discussion / Re: *bows* Howdy. A couple questions:
« on: November 03, 2020, 09:19:48 am »
Will this game have an emphasis on staying in formation like WoR does?
Its up to the players themselves if they want to play in groups on public servers

Regarding realism in movement/shooting/ballistics mechanics, will this game be more 'Holdfasty' or more 'WoRty'?
The shooting mechanics of BCOF has already been explained in a developer blog

Hope this information answered your questions.

Can only agrre with him! Very helpful link though. Thanks for sharing!

General Discussion / Re: Server Difficulty?
« on: November 03, 2020, 09:17:14 am »
Maybe you can visit this site: https://www.heimkinoheld.de/gamer-pc-anleitung/

It is an german article but you can easy translate it in every browser, so you do not have to use translate programs.

An own server is very difficult and out of my experience, but i think this article somehow makes it look easier. If you have the time, why not take a look?

They introduce you to building your own gaming pc.
