I am quite glad we got the beta testing done before it happened, what timing.
It is quite sad for events scheduled to be entertaining or competitive and to be rescheduled.
But what can you do.

I heard that someone tried hacking and stealing cd keys, so they had to shut it down.

Go to the Steam Library page within the Steam Application. Click on Warband, and,, on the right, it says "Show CD Key" or something. Alt-tab between the App and the Warband game, and copy the characters of the NW key into box when it prompts you to enter it. It should work, and it'll never harass you for the Key until the authorisation server crashes again and we have the same fiasco start all over.. :D

It is not even asking me for new CD key. It does't even show the servers. I can only see the ones under favorites and when I click connect the same message pops up and all I can click is "Okay"
Is your game up2date?
