We had today a population of 30+- over the course of the day.
Since serverstart a few days ago we had already over 500 people visiting our server.
I changed the cost of some rewards today, to make it more easy to get them.
Future steps:
- Aquiring new maps. 2 maps are actually worked on, but we also look out for some communitymade maps. If you have any and want them to be played, feel free to contact us.
Edit: Some Admins, like Big_Mama joined the server today and begged for people to swap to the other servers. I dont mind such cancer on my cancer server^^. Idea for a new gesture: Running while surrendering. You can currently do this by using an outhouse, surrendering, and right clicking.

I had a talk with Elling (server owner of one of the other Tropical Servers), and he informed me, that all other Tropical servers were not meant to be called that way and were asked to change in the past. We did not know this, and of course we support each other in this community, so we will be renamed for now to Caribbean_Republic.
I dont have too much time at the moment, so server is renamed, the rest will follow tonight probably.

What kind of Event: We will have a Gungame Event. You might know the gungame mode from many other games. We play a Deathmatch, and each time you do a kill, you get another NW weapon. In the end you get a knife, and the first to make a kill with the knife wins.
When: This sunday at 15 BST, event will run as long people enjoy it
Where: In our glorious republic of course: The_Caribbean_Republic
What to win: Every each of the winners (there will be plenty, as rounds are quite short), will unlock a skin, that they can buy for 3 Killstreakpoints whenever playing on the server [implemented with next update next week]

Q: What if I win several times, can I share my skin with another player?
A: No, personal sharing is prohibited. Only the government is allowed to share wealth, but wont.
Q: Will I be able to choose my skin?
A: No, there will be the same skin for every winner. But nobody will be able to unlock this specific skin at a later point of time. Future events might hold new skins though.
Q: Will there be fancy CoD weapons?
A: No, only normal NW weapons, like Banhammers and such.
Q: If I come late, can I still join the event?
A: Yes, you can join anytime, its a Deathmatch mode.
Q: What will be the password?
A: The server will be public, we just activate the gungame mode and deactivate it later, no password, no serverrestart.
