Das Infanterie-Regiment N°7 wurde am 25 Januar 1691 gegründet, Kommandant wurde Notger Wilhelm Graf von Öttingen-Baldern. Die meiste Zeit in der Geschichte des Regiments war das Regiment in Norditalien/Toskana stationiert. Es kämpfte unter anderem in Kriegen wie dem Spanischen Erbfolgekrieg, Siebenjährigen Krieg und den Napoleonischen Kriegen, dabei erhielten die Offiziere des Regiments oft Auszeichnungen wie etwa 1789, als Feldwebel Michael Ruppert als erster Mann der Armee die von Kaiser Joseph II. neu gestiftete goldene Ehren-Denkmünze verliehen bekam. Ab 1809 wurde Ferdinand III. Kommandeur und später Inhaber des Regiments, so dass es den den Beinamen 'Großherzog von Würzburg' erhielt.

The Infanterie-Regiment N°7 was an infantry regiment in the Austrian army. It was founded on  25. janurary 1691 under the command of Notger Wilhelm Graf von Öttingen-Baldern. The regiment served in wars like the War of the Spanish Succession, Seven Years' War or the Napoleonic Wars. In 1809, Ferdinand III became the commander of the Regiment.

Das Regiment ging am 17.November aus den befreundeten Regimentern 3tesIR und 13teKBI hervor, Ziel war es ein großes, gutes und diszipliniertes Regiment zu schaffen das mit den größten internationalen Regimentern mithalten und in der NWL eine gute Platzierung erreichen kann. Wir bieten eine freundliche Community die neben NW und Warband Mods auch viele andere Spiele gemeinsam spielt wie etwa World of Tanks, Planetside 2, Die Total War- und Paradox Spielereihe und viele weitere.
Um unsere Ziele zu erreichen und weiter auszubauen sind wir immer auf der Suche nach neuen Spielern die sich uns anschließen wollen. Alter und Herkunft ist dabei egal solange man Anstand, Disziplin und Spaß am Spiel mitbringt. Natürlich sollte man dafür ein Headset sowie Teamspeak 3 besitzten und die deutsche Sprache vestehen.

Good luck guys, but by the Nine, you should have thought more about the name..
7te and 7tes are going to be confused by a lot of people in the non-German-speaking community which will only make life more difficult not only for those people but for both regiments in question as well.
If the 7te are not willing to come to an agreement with you, as Shifty put it, I'd still argue it's within their right to deny a compromise. The early bird gets the worm, afterall.
Of course, nobody can forbid any of you to carry your respective tags since they are in fact different, but what's the purpose of insisting on your still very similar names even after concern has been expressed and a conflict is apparent? Showing who's the biggest pighead?

You're going to keep the name because "they were unreasonable and impolite", is that course of action particularly reasonable?

I see no benefit in playing defiant in this affair, do what's best for everyone.

I changed it to "6teGarde & Invites" because no officers of the 7te were present, just a large number of their members (btw I`ll just add "& Invites" if nearly half of the opponents numbers consisted of invites).

The fun thing was that we moved away from our spawn 3 of 4 times on the first map (2:2), which was changed due to this camping stuff. We just know that you guys would defeat us in melee, so we use formations and shooting, which was on pretty close distance on the second map. The 4-2 on the 2nd map was not achieved with camping, but with formations built up fast and flexible.

Oh and about those invites: Awesome and you fixed that Linebattle with 10-20 people. I don't understand why you had to bring 30 then (brag?). Of course I bring invites then, why kick 10 people out of an event which is meant to be fun, if we can fix that easily with invites?

The fun thing was that we moved away from our spawn 3 of 4 times on the first map (2:2), which was changed due to this camping stuff. We just know that you guys would defeat us in melee, so we use formations and shooting, which was on pretty close distance on the second map. The 4-2 on the 2nd map was not achieved with camping, but with formations built up fast and flexible.

Oh and about those invites: Awesome and you fixed that Linebattle with 10-20 people. I don't understand why you had to bring 30 then (brag?). Of course I bring invites then, why kick 10 people out of an event which is meant to be fun, if we can fix that easily with invites?

The first map sucked, we both agreed on that and that`s why we changed it. As Brot already pointed out the 6teGarde defeated us due to their superior formations and shooting skill.
I have no problems with the fact that you brought invites: I always add "& Invites" if one side had a extraordinary amount if invites (~40%+). If you have a look at the LB history of the 3tesIR I added it a couple of times (mostly for the 3tesIR).

Was a really good Linebattle yersterday guys, and you gave us some really close rounds !

Once again, sorry for "firing in charge", most of the time it wasn't in the aim to break the rules, simply new recruits reacting a bit too late, mainly because of the late officer's reaction when you directly charged our line :/

Hope to see you soon on the field, and best of luck in the NWL ;)

Thanks to all regiments that made this fun and continued to invite us to their LBs even if he only had 15 men in the end.
