Respectfully I'd say we've succeed in avoiding competitive almost completely for our existence, and yet are one of the biggest regiments in the game.It’s of course your decision how you want to run your regiment. But stating that you guys don’t do competitive as something to be proud of comes off as arrogant in my opinion.

New people join regiments lead by these kind of people, and what do they see? Power hungry manchildren. They then conclude regiments are run by idiots and either: join servers like NRP or Minisiege and mock regiments, or leave the game completely.
This mass of crappy people are killing the game, they always have. This is what makes us so 'xenophobic'.

On the other side of the spectrum, many of the players who try out competitive NW stay active because they enjoy it. Yes, some of them are driven by the eager to prove themselves on a online video-game and may or may not turn into complete cunt in order to reach such a position.You nailed the description of yourself in that first paragraph. Even though not in the in-game mechanics competitive scene necessarily.
That is why I feel claiming that the competitive community is what's killing the game sounds really wrong. I would argue it contributes to keeping it alive, the same way the many but mostly anonymous casual regiments do. However, I don't have your experience of the game so it's probably why I don't see things the same way as you do.

1.The competive scene is toxic but so is the entire NW community as a whole, ofcourse i am well behaved and never toxic nor do i troll.
You all need to learn how to take getting dabbed on every now and then by gods like me.
2. The 92nd event sucks poopoo but so do most other events, however the 19th are currently one of if not the best hosts of LB's/events out there. A good balance between upholding rules and banter.
So don't shittalk my boys of the 19th, except for El'Presidente since he doesn't acknowledge my godly skills and personality.

The issue for us is chat which I will do my best personally to get ontop of, people really don't like us because of that. It's a shame because frankly we follow other rules better than a lot of other regiments do!
Other than that I love the no FiC rule. Our own Saturday and Sunday events have absolutely no FiC which results in massive melee fights where everyone gets a chance :). Hopefully we can instigate mass charges in your tournament.
