Yeah, that's entirely fair if you mean it that way. I believe ultimately the T1 is the easiest tier to rate because everyone is familiar with faces which have been around the top for years now. Like, I'm the worse person to recognize people based on faces and/or gameplay but I have watched so many of Shadey's tournament videos that I'd argue he is one of the few players I would be unconsciously capable to recognize on a server without seeing his name, solely based on the way he plays. That makes top players easier to identify and therefore easier to rate although it doesn't make mine or anyone else opinion necessarily more relevant.
The issue with T1 has always been the bias which is not so easy to let go off considering the huge egos we are talking about. In that sense, if Chucksters managed to avoid that to a certain extent, props go to him. But yeah, as soon as you delve into the lower tiers and the further you go, the harder it will be to remain accurate about someone's current performance, which I reckon is a given for pretty much anybody at this point.
