After a sucessful Cavalry League (https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?board=246.0) where the 8th 'King's Own' Royal Hussars (https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=34766.0) managed to lift their first major trophy by beating their long-term rival from the 4e RĂ©giment de Hussards (https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=22717.0) in a nail-biting match, Erik and myself wanted to capitalize on the strong activity and interest we witnessed in the cavalry competitive scene. We had plans of hosting a format similar to the Hussar Cup (https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=39361.msg1738349#msg1738349) for quite a long time but it's only during the very last weeks of the Cavalry League that we talked with Lindblom who accepted to revive that competition with us. With Lightning finalizing our admin team, we were finally ready to present you that project very dear to us. Welcome to the official announcement thread of the Hussar Cup, Season 2. The Hussars Cup Season 2 will be an invitational, fast-paced tournament, lasting for no more than five weeks, with the best regiments from the hussar community coming together for what promises to be an absolute brawl. The idea is to have the highest form of competition by not only making sure the skill gap between each participating regiments is as small as possible but also putting everyone on equal footing by displaying one and one class only. We have our number of participating teams set to 6 for now however, the format we have opted for allow us to raise that number to 7 or 8 teams if required. Although this is not in our plans for now, would a large number of smaller regiments (casual or competitive) share their wish to partake in this event that we would consider hosting a second division running alongside the first one. We do have the ressources for this, we just want to make sure the interest is there. | (https://i.imgur.com/YplUmke.png) Administrators: (https://i.imgur.com/R5wa8jb.png) Erik (https://i.imgur.com/R5wa8jb.png) Tardet (https://i.imgur.com/I85uBSw.png) Lindblom (https://i.imgur.com/0aYfwo0.png) Lightning (https://img.icons8.com/metro/420/overtime.png) Tournament duration: Five weeks (https://cdn.iconscout.com/icon/premium/png-256-thumb/deadline-6-243875.png) First week matches: 18th of January 2021. I told you this in privatehorsesif Vegi does not post on every thread on fse he dies
First part of our rigging masterplan is to trap the 8th into playing in the only event where they lost a deciding title match against the 4e
Second part of the plan is to be better than them at the game
I don't know where this can go wrong honestly
Cant even write good luck as it looks like im part of it (sponsoring can make you an admin I suppose so take my money!)You can wish good luck to ourselves, clearly, we are going to need it with the recent news we got ^^

Is this dead or what?
Is this dead or what?I thought Aless would have told you but upon discussion with the regimental leaders from the 6e, 1er, 8th & 2Lr, they told us that they would prefer delaying the tournament for a little while, until early March. Only Erik (4e) still had a preference to start in January but given the majority was in favour of a delay, the tournament organizers decided to go with it. Worth noting that Fidje (Nr15) also mentioned to me the chances of them partaking in a competitive event around March would be much higher (they felt too rusty to partake in January). Doesn't mean they will necessarily be willing to attend comes March, but it also was considered by the administration when making the decision to delay the tournament.
