Wonder if they should have kept Hill in.

Hill absolutely should have finished the 7th. The Red Sox couldn't hit him all game, but they lit up everybody in that bullpen at one point or another in the previous three games.

Maybe it's because I'm old school, maybe I'm overreacting, but I have an idea that Kershaw needs to pitch a complete game victory today for the Dodgers to have a chance . . . and that even if he's throwing a shutdown, Roberts will take him out after a single in the sixth and put Madson back in.

Now fully convinced Kershaw becomes a brain-dead fuck up when it comes to anything important.

Yawn I called this World Series and result in the summer. Most predictable season of baseball other than the Brewers. Yankees gonna win it in either 2019 or 2020 so it's all good.

Yankees gonna win it in either 2019 or 2020 so it's all good.

Let's break that down as the Yankees are going to possibly lose these six "big name" players to FA:

Zach Britton - 1-0 2.88 ERA in 25 games (3 Saves). ALDS 2.25 ERA in 4 IP, not bad. He had an ERA of 3.45 in Baltimore before being traded.

J.A. Happ - 7-0 2.69 ERA in 11 games. 63 Ks in 63.2 IP. Potential last start as a Yankee was in the ALDS against Boston: 2 IP 4 H 5 ER. Yikes. He had an ERA of 4.18 in Toronto before being traded.

Lance Lynn - 3-2 with an ERA of 4.14 in 11 games (9 started). Last start was in the ALDS where he pitched 2 games with 2.1 IP with 3 ER and an ERA of 11.57. He had an ERA 5.10 of in Minnesota before being traded.

Andrew McCutchen - .253/.421/.471 in 87 AB (147 PA) in 25 games. He went 2-for-15 (.133) in the ALDS. He had a slash line of .255/.357/.415 with the Giants prior to being traded.

David Robertson - 8-3 with an ERA of 3.23 in 69 games. He did pretty well in the ALDS, 2.2 IP in 2 games, out of 9 batters faced he struck out 6 and walked 1.

CC Sabathia - 9-7 with an ERA of 3.65 in 29 games. 3 IP in the ALDS with an ERA of 9.00.

This player has an opt-out, either by player or by club:

Brett Gardner, Club Option - .236/.322/.368 in 530 AB (609 PA). In the ALDS he went 1-for-8 in 12 PA. He walked 3 times and struck out once in 4 games.

Ikr lol but I would give that to Justin Verlander for now. Max Scherzer maybe if he win one or two more Cy Young and stay consistent over the next 3 or 4 years. Maybe CC Sabathia for how long he has played and staying consistent over his long career.

I hope a Rockies vs Yankees series isn't asking for too much.

Their team is an outright fucking disaster lmao. Chris Davis needs to get down to Triple-A too, biggest waste of money in recent memory.
