Is the new FSE expansion going to be released on the Warband engine? Mount & Blade 2 is just around the corner, ya' know.

It's not an expansion, it's a new game that is unrelated to the M&B series.
Oops, my bad. :-X

He's referring to Battle Cry of Freedom, I believe.

 That makes more sense.

What's going to happen after Freedom? I hope we won't have to deal with a port that could take months

I don't want to be a pessimist, but I wouldnt count on BCoF before mid/end 2014, to be realistic. So I think the mod has a huge amount of time to offer some great fun and its to early to think about the future ;)

Expansion? You mean Battlecry?
It's a standalone and will be on a new engine.

Battlecry = Standalone nothing to do with M&B
M&B2 Bannerlord = Standalone sequel to M&B, also not an expansion

I'm just here to report that I've finally decided to join the FSE forums. It will be a pleasure to follow you here(even though I'm uncomfortable with "volunteer" as my rang :D).

Sincerely, Humlenerd.

BTW: Battlecry is a standalone game.

Why.. are there no US Regiments? This takes place in 1917 right? or did the creators change that?

From Taleworlds: "We're going for the period of time around the battles of Somme and Verdun, basically late 1916. Exceptions may be made."

we don't need the American regiments they were only in it for 6 months. I just want to see the core factions: Britain, France, Germany, Turkey or Italy

Aye, the US was a formal participant in world war 1 from like April 1917 to the end November 1918 or something, and this is based as humlenerd said late 1916 =p
