Events: EU / 95th commander battle event

to replace the sunday siege we are starting a commander battle event at 7:00pm GMT/BST the server will be  1st_Brigade_offical and i will send out the password each week via steam. the usual rules about not being an ass, tking, trolling or the like all amply as always

specific unit rules are as follows

line/guard and arty must stay in compact formations, no stand apart spamming

light, skerms and cav may spreed as much as they like

class limits will be announced on the day via steam message or in admin chat, it's likely to be around 1 cav per team/reg depending on attendance, as of now there will be no limit on arty or light/skerms as they don't have enough of an impact to need one

Mapping / siege event maps

with an end to the 95th sunday siege i'm going to dump all the maps we used here for others to use. no pics cos i'm to lazy to find some way to upload them, all maps have been optimized as well for events, less props and balanced around 20-25 min rounds (also invisible walls on top of the real ones so sappers cant build over them(thanks 77y :P )

with land for attackers, i also added a large boat off the the back side of the fort with more arty for attackers or defender (both can get to it and it's good for both) also the bridge starts broken and no tnt to stop the rush for the bridge at the start

made it Halloweenie for 2016 i thing, you know fog, skulls and the like. also made the boat better for defenders, you can jump off the wall if you do it right and siege ladders. not sure about this but i think it was me who added build able crossing over the broken bridge rather than a ladder

i have rebuilt the whole flow of this fort, the flags on the other side and the defender spawn is protected, forts mostly the same on the outside but plays alot different

well this week sees the end to this event. attendance has been horrible for a while and this week was the second week with only 2 regiments coming and we haven't had above 5 regiments for months. I've had a really fun time running this event for the 2 or so year i have do so. i will try and put the maps we have used on the mapping forum for others to use. thank you to everyone who has attended over the years

what map mode are you working in. if you put them down in map edit then switch to a game mode they should work things get buggy if you edit game modes (like siege, battle, and so on)
