Technical Support / Unable to start up the game

My game has recently started not allowing me to play, I get to the Paradox and Taleworlds video at the beginning of launch but the second they are done the game crashes, I have tried verifying game cache, re-installing the game, closing Steam down and restarting it and have been disconnected from the internet multiple times since it began, and this has been happening for 2-3 days now.

Any clue what is going on?

General Discussion / Research for a College task - Help appreciated!

For my creative media work I need to collect some feedback, and research from multiple sources and so who better to ask than you fine blokes, based a game genre of my own choice; I opted for Survival Horror considering I grew up with games such as Silent Hill and Resident Evil, and so I need to know:

What your preferred perspective is; 3^rd or 1^st Person
Mechanics which should be included in any good Horror game; Such as cover, climbing etc.
What you guys think of a Horror game set in the future; Horror games such as 'Dead Space'
What you think makes a great Horror experience; Scarce resources, Loneliness, Frailty, Pacing, Tension.. Etc.

As you may have noticed in the newest patch France gained a new addition to their Line Infantry roster, The Bavarian infantry, I thought that the colours were too light so I darkened them a little.

Official Servers Bans & Unbans / Plea to be unbanned from NW EU1 - Oldest Guard

On the 19th of this month I was banned for admittedly TKing a member of my team that was teamwounding as people were gathering to form a public line, the person in question's name eludes me but he then went on to slap and kick several members of the line including myself before moving on to kick and punch the player leading the line, Naughty Penguin, a friend of mine on the server, due to the lack of admins on at that time due to work, education etc I took it upon myself to stop his teamwounding spree and shoot him, this was then screencapped by someone nearby I admit I was in the wrong to take it into my own hands, but in all honesty it was not a banning offence, I was simply stopping a troll from ruining the game for the majority of our team.

If I could be considered for an unban I promise to keep such anti-trolling countermeasures to the admins of the server.
