I really wanted to watch it - then I realized you had to pay for the stream also......

The most physically demanding event I've ever done but also the best event. My feet may still be killing me from the huge amount of marching we had to do but it is worth it. I enjoyed this event so much especially being on the battlefield for the first time and actually marching down into the dip where D'Erlon's  I Corps actually marched 200 years ago was astounding. I'll never forget it.

Same feeling man and glad we met ! I was in front of the Corps and when I looked back and saw all the bataillons following it was speechless

Yeah uhm.....at moment we decided to screw it and retreat. We're marines, not the bloody coldstream guard.

Well bugger me that was a brilliant event! I can't really describe the feeling of facing a huge french column with 3 brigade. we were out there alone on that allied left flank against what seemed like half the french army, and outshot them. My kit is ruined, I need new trousers, but do I care... no, I was there, I saw Boney and we bloody well beat the french! Good job everyone!

that was awesome! when we walked into the stadium on the friday, it was packed like 60,000 people. i had no words, and the volleys from our 500 odd men of 2 Brigade were massive.

Agreed both sides were really friendly to each other despite what the UK media was trying to stir up in the weeks before, good form all!
