A thriving community, full of heroes honing their skills in battle and seeking glory above all else. For this was what the people valued most - not jewels, treasures or any other material possessions - but glory.
For a long time the Native community stuck to these ideals; champions rose and fell, villains reared their heads and were struck back into the darkness from which they had come. It was a time of prosperity.
However, like all things, it was not to last...
As if taken by some fell curse, or called away on a quest of utmost importance, all but a few of the greatest heroes vanished. Those that were left were too few and too thinly spread to oppose the coming darkness...
The unity that had brought adventurers, martial artists, rangers, knights & all other manner of heroes together was gone. Renegade bands of mercenaries sprung up one after another, battling and vanishing in the blink of an eye.
The ruinous machinations of these villains led to turmoil and crisis; gone were the days in which legendary bands of heroes would maintain order and prosperity. The serenity of those times was replaced with disrepair and chaos.
Poorly run tournaments happened one after another and clans died in their millions. Death, fire and damnation... these were now the currency of the kingdom...
While all Native fell into ruin, an elite few known as the Mage's Guild looked on from their ivory towers in dismay.
Warded off by powerful incantations, the villains that now terrorised the land were unable to do even the slightest harm to the elite sects of the Mage's Guild.
It was not long until these Mages, ever benevolent and wise, decided that the module known as Native was lost. Even with their colossal might, the task of rebuilding all that was lost was too daunting.
Thus, the mightiest Mages left the land they had once called home and set sail in search of a new bountiful kingdom...
The Mage's Guild soon arrived in a new land full of curious weaponry and tactics; more odd that than, though, were the inhabitants of this land.
Obsessed with lists and written arguments in public forums, the people of this land were an anomaly in comparison to the tranquil unity of the Mage's Guild.
All the same, the Mage's Guild quickly erected a mighty citadel from which to operate; from here they sent out a call to arms, summoning mighty individuals from this new land to their banner.
