As I dont reenact any eras involving firearms, I have always wondered, how in the hell do you know you have been hit? I know its not like medieval when you are bashing the **** out of people with actual metal swords.
In 21e, we're told when to go down, so for example an officer may tap you on the shoulder and say "Next volley, you go down."
Or it'll be more in big clusters, for example "The front ranks will all die from canister and the rest flee etc"
Dennewitz is in Southern Brandenburg near Jüterbog.

And for everybody who will come to Leipzig: You have to look at the Saxon Infantry. These guys are amazing
I really love the mismatch of uniforms with the French (least I think its deliberate lol) really gives the impression of conscripts being rushed out of the depot.
And of course always love the march past the crowd at the end, VIIIIIIVE L'EMPEREUUUUR!!!
Speaking of Leipzig, the 21e is going to be part of the rear-guard that is left behind after the only bridge gets blown up, no escape for us
