We are (very) new Mount and Blade Warband Napoleonic Wars Regiment, we are portraying Finnish Life Guards of the Russian army. Our main goal is to make this Regiment as fun and user friendly as possible. Everyone is welcome to our Regiment!
The reason we selected Finliandsky is that this is something unique, there ain't lots of Russian Regiments so we decided to make unique regiment while still keeping inside the game's factions.
The Finliandsky Life Guards were formed in 1806, during Napoleonic Wars they fought at Borodino and Leipzig as part of the 2nd Guards Brigade [It was 2nd Regiment in the Brigade]. The Regiment earned Old Guard status in 1812. They took part to most of the wars Russia took part during the 1800's and early 1900's (including World War 1). The Finnish Guards Regiment was active till 1918 when it was disbanded.
Sadly the Regiment's history in the Napoleonic Era is very unknown, most of the records of the unit's history are during the early 1900's.
