I think people were just not ready for the sheer amount of politics and exposition that had to be shown to help show how the Sith came to power. I liked it but it's easy to see people wanting more action and stuff like that
they showed how the sith came to power? man that movie was forgettable

Episode 3 is the only prequel that really matters the rest is just a bunch of filler shit of awkward acting and pointless talking talking & more talking.

And let's not forget the most famous scene from episode 2..

Whats wrong with that scene though? He is basically saying that he doesn't like Tatooine, but that he likes this place and that he likes to be together with her.

That is what i am saying? One of the needed moments to show the growth of the love between the two.

Euros must not be able to detect how autistic and rigid the acting in that scene is. It's like Lucas wanted him to be like a teenager, but then he was like 'actually you know what, be a 12 year old" and he was like aight fam and tried his hardest to speak like he was in a soap opera. Truly cringe inducing, and Aiden Christiansen isn't even a bad actor so it can pretty much be chalked up to Lucas's awful writing and direction.

To be fair I think even Nipple would have done a better job than George Lucas did on episode II.

For a matter of fact, the best Star Wars movies are the ones that he did not direct himself.

And in general I have heard a lot of people complain about the bad acting in the Star Wars prequels.
I watched them all in German, and still do, because I am just used to them in German, and I never noticed any bad acting.

Sometimes it is good to have a German dub. Bad acting can be made better. Because the German dub actors are super experienced and dub practically every movie there is, the acting of a lot of actors is probably made a whole lot better.

Yeah in English it is way, way worse. Btw I just watched revenge of the sith and it was indeed terrible. Good obiwan anikan fight scene though.

Ep. 1-3 had bad acting cuz george ducas doesn't know how to direct so hence alot of bad acting. He had a ton of good actors but couldn't direct them for it to be a good movie

Well ep. 1-2 had shit writing so that's also up for debate.

I think the main problem with ep 1-3 was that George Lucas had surrounded himself with a bunch of yes men, who didn't question him what so ever.

From what I have seen in the "making of" videos, that is indeed true.
